What a way to start the season! I can already tell that this season is gonna be all kinds of awesome!
Rating - 9/10 - Bobby's reaction to Dean was amazing, Sam's reaction was heartbreaking (in a good way) pure emotion! The twist with Ruby & Sam - SO GOOD! I am so relieved that Dean is out of hell but i have so many questions!! The Angel of the Lord, Castiel? (not sure on spelling, i'm sure you guys will let me know) but again I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!

Went to a Supernatural con they are all even better looking in person. This show has a lot of pretty. Plus they are talented actors.

Card Hazard Uhh no, only the upper management of Heaven knows the real tea, they wanted the Apocalypse but they still pretended like they didn’t so they still order lower angels like Cas to try and stop it. Heck, in episode 20 Cas got dragged back to Heaven because he was trying to warn Dean about the truth

This is one of those episodes I rewatch when jonesing for some old SPN. When Dean slapped that diner demon, I was thinking, "Darn it, boy, you just got out of hell. Don't go rushing back!" Castiel's entrance was memorably epic and blew me away.

Finally you've arrived at the best season of them all. For me personally this is the best episode of the series. The way they introduce Castiël is just amazing there will be one better intro but I won't spoil it for you. This Ruby is Jared's wife. (funfact). Note to one of your comments: Castiel didn't show Dean his true form. That was just a shadow of his wings. His true form would burn out Dean's eyes as well. There are only a few chosen people who can see the true form and Dean's not one of them.
For the most part of this video I was just jumping up and down in my seat because...because... All your comments and predictions... I just want to say stuff and I can't because spoilers!!! :D It's so frustrating. But it's also a reward to see and actual reaction to the twists and stuff that you didn't know. This episode is sort of a threshold to a new phase of this show.
Also, a bit of trivia: New Ruby is Genevieve Padalecki (or Cortese at that point in time). She and Jared met when she came on SPN and the rest is history :). You might already know that bit of info, but yeah... :)

You acknowledge the attractiveness of various actors and actresses, and every time you do I think, "Does this woman not realize how beautiful she is?!?" You've got a brilliant smile and your eyes are gorgeous. (Best response I ever heard when I complimented a woman's eyes was, "Thanks. They were a birthday gift." 😂)

I wonder if anyone out there got the idea that Dean was rescued by an angel before Castiel's introduction scene. I certainly was taken completely by surprised back then.
This is maybe the best season opener. Raising so many questions that the viewers will be dying to have answered. Angels? God? What "work" do they have for Dean? Why do angels appear now of all times? (Back in Season 2, they said there was no evidence whatsoever for angels to exist.) If they were real all the time, why did nobody encounter them? What has Sam been doing to get these new powers? And what are these powers anyway? Does he have other abilities we haven't seen yet?
Really feeling bad for Pamela. She didn't do anything wrong, and then it turns out that it was an angel doing this to her (even though not intentionally, but still)?
Just about 20 weeks until season 5! Yeaaahhh! xD

Enjoy this season really changes the game for future seasons. Fair warning Castiel isn’t what you expect angels to act like at the start but he grows on you. The meetings with Bobby and Sam was understandable hunter rule: if a dead guy is alive and walking assume the worst.

he only showed him his wings but showing dean his true form would have had the same effect as with the medium
it's also said that depending on the angel the effect can also be to become a statue so yeah no true form there

Man, we've been waiting for this. Fun fact- Ruby's new meat suit later became Jared's rl wife. SO much fun coming. This is a game changer, lots of big things coming. Now if you want to look up, Castiel's introduction is frequently listed as one of the best character intros on TV. Easy to see why.

Castiel played also in the show charmed, for a episode with phoebe mostly.
He was also... a rapist? ... in an episode of Law and Order, he was really slimy in that one. Glad I saw him as Cas first, otherwise all I'd be thinking about is him smirking as he's getting away with it.

This is one of the SPN episodes that I can nearly watch on repeat and re-visit when I need an SPN fix.
I can't remember when I discovered SPN on netflix (could have been as early as 2015 or as late as 2017) but I had run out of things to binge watch and stumbled on recommendations for supernatural. I tried season 1 first (because that is the logical place to start) but couldn't get through it because the episodes were it was too "monster of the week" with the season arc spread too thin throughout the season to really be all that captivating. Kudos to you to get through season 1 on your first go through - but I almost abandoned the series at this point.
I went online and found something that recommended the key S2 episodes to watch that advanced the season 2 arc and then got hooked on season 3. However, it was season 4 that solidified my SPN love. Once I fell in love with SPN (especially Dean but Castiel too) - could I go back to season 1 and appreciate the time with the boys in the first 2 seasons.
Seasons 4 and 5 will always be my favorites. The season arcs following after S4 &S5 are hit and miss (don't get me wrong there are great episodes in the seasons afterwards and even some good season arcs) but seasons 4 and 5 are the peak of the show IMHO. However, once you fall in love with the show any time at all with the boys is a gift.
My favourite episode of supernatural so far! Cas is one of my favourite characters in the show, cas & dean together are just amazing 🙏

All of them were down there a few days ago right? In England I mean, the Supernatural Con, I think it's the first time the actual Supernatural Con went across to England, there were conventions before but they were owned by other people whereas this con was the Supernatural Official convention. Jensen & Jared & a whole bunch of the cast was in Birmingham for a few days.
