    1. Sex is not merely about pleasure, almost no one believes that, it’s also a relational practice, it regulates hormones, and increases overall and mental health.
What has changed is that people don’t often believe that sex is exclusively about children, which was never the case, and people don’t assume that sex is about lifelong relationships any more than they think kissing is about lifelong relationships.
    2. Most people don’t think that marriage is solely about personal fulfillment. Marriage is however a personal choice that should be made with your well-being and the well-being of your partner in mind. It a mutual arrangement, not some sacred practice or and people are not obligated to have children.
    3. Gender is irrelevant, as far as scripture is concerned, there is neither Jew nor Greek, neither male nor female.
Scripture says that there is no law against love (Galatians 5:22-23)
And if you believe for a second that the “church” hasn’t been standing in the way of every single step towards equality for Queer people. You’re ignorant.
Queer people don’t have rights because you didn’t try hard enough, Queer people have rights because your arguments were u justifiable. And the majority of American Christians agree with that now.
But props for admitting that Christians have been inconsistent and they do and believe things without knowing why.
