I’ve flown Icelandair’s 757 Saga class many times.It is intimate and elegant.The food out of Europe and Iceland is four star restaurant quality.The cabin crew extremely professional.And of course the 57 is a classic powerful plane.If you don’t HAVE to have a lay flat seat this is an extremely rewarding choice. Great video and hello from Iceland, I fly frequently with Iceland and have gone probably over 20+ times but im pretty sure your screen did not stop working. It simply just turned off you could’ve just hold the button on the side and it would’ve turned back on😁
I have always been a Scotch drinker but lately I have been trying Gin and Tonics and have come to really like them so long as I have a lemon to go with it, but I have never seen or heard of the ones you have had! Your meal looked quite nice and filling! Thanks for the review....take care and stay safe!
I really enjoy your videos. The guy's look on his face when you were just pouring a tiny bottle of gin into some tonic was priceless. How about adding where planes are going and coming from? It really would jazz things up quite a bit.
On a side note, there was this grapefruit gin that I bought in a Bahraini duty free shop. I normally mix it with grapefruit juice and sparkling water. Delicious!
I've flown their Max 9, 757s, and 767. I definitely support your gin consumption. I would fly them from Chicago to Europe any time. Great product at a great price.
Five hours and 25 minutes is not that long for many US domestic travelers. It’s the same time as Hawaii - West Coast cities. Or from the west to the east coasts. (Alaska by the way has a standard 41” pitch FC cabin.). Icelandair flies 757-300s from PDX-KEF but the flight time is 8 hours. It is one of Icelandair’s longest routes, and longest route for a 757-300.
No, I didn´t flown in Icelandair, but in 1991 I flown Madrid to N.Y. JFK in ATA´s B-757-200. Was a nightmare experience. I never want to cross the Atlantic Ocean with a narrow body aircraft. I prefer B-767, ///, DC-10 or B-747. Never more with a B-757.

Saga Premium is usually full because they allow passengers to bid on class upgrades.

The reason for the late meal service was to avoid a pre landing meal, a clever cost saving tactic. Better to bring along snacks for the flight.

The sound of the 757 is surely great but you've missed the 747-200 & 400 roar. The DC 10-30. The 727-200. Back in the days. Lucky me.....
