I feel that enough people don't appreciate just how insane this run is... Without Rhok'delar also. This is a speedrun that is very hard to beat. Well done!
There are some nice new tricks in there. I just hope no new hunters tries to copy this run, there are far too many things that can go wrong: you can get sheeped by the mages in front of the courtyard, dead. Your pet does not aggro all bugs, dead. You can get slammed by guard slip in a weird angle, dead. In front of the seaforium charge door sometimes your pet aggroes the right pack too, dead. In the boss fight, your pet gets feared out of the corner, restart boss fight
While you're right that a lot of things can go wrong, some of the stuff you listed is surmountable 100%. Sheep - very true, since Scatter CD is already used. Aggro all bugs - but it will. If you wait a second, it will 100% go to your pet. If you save a second like OP, if you notice he uses Furious Howl to guarantee the aggro. Slip weird angle: not really, Deterrence and Monkey sort of means you can slowly walk over to the ramp (drop Cheetah though) and just be dandy. It's more of the FD resist at point blank that's deadly. If you face a priest Cho, just switch up and don't let Cho get near your pet, that's all there is to it. It may take a minute or two longer due to Shields and having to prevent Psychic Scream. Seaforium massive pet aggro: one way to deal with this is to use Frost Trap w entrapment instead. If right pack aggros, spam attack/passive on your wolf so it stays in place, serpent sting or r1 arcane the door guards to pull them, Furious Howl so all aggro goes on the Wolf, then send it back down the ramp. This pulls all 6+ mobs into a Frost Trap and buys you more than enough time to work the door, get in, and despawn the pet. Very mechanical, but very doable with practice. (Finally you can actually tell if pet is going to aggro, 59-60 leftmost mob will pick it up, especially if you target the pet to attack the further door guard)
Scatter shot the sheep cast animation Solution 1. Your pet does not aggro all bugs, DEad. your summoning the pet too early. There's no way Slipkik is killing you unless your too slow to remove aspect of the cheetah.(this one i can agree on thou if you are too quick Slipkik can be in a scuffed position. Infront of the seaforium charge door, when your pet aggros the right pack you use howl on pet. When your pet gets feared out of the corner. You simply send pet to attack something and back to passive and it will go back to it's original location where you choosed it to stay in corner. Hope this helps you.
@@SissySara113 thanks for your answers, I'll definitely try a frag on my next farm. with the help of the classic hunter discord, I was able to learn a lot of little tricks to minimize risk and improve efficiency, highly recommended!
Is this actually Classic and not a private server? I'm wondering because the placement of the Ogres in that very first pack on the left does not match what I see in Classic. In Classic you cannot run up and jump on the wall without aggro'ing that pack like you did in the video.
That pack has a random chance to not spawn one of ogres, if you don't run up to that wall you jump on the right side of the pillar instead, as I do in the faster videos
Question about the 2 packs in the hallway before the bugs. The 2nd pack doesnt have a demon in it. Did the not have a chance to summon it? Is that normal or just lucky?
random chance, not really lucky, I still do the same thing with popping shadow reflector because the warlock can instantly summon a demon that cripples you. its almost worse than its good for that reason
Figure out which key bindings and addons can be improved. In some ways that is more important than tactics. Dude in video has a very reliable method of summoning pet, healing pet, 'pet stay', 'pet attack', 'furious howl', etc. I'm sure he learned through failure.
Probably would've taken a lot of runs for this clip, and I think blizzard may have made it slightly more difficult by adjusting some of the spawns ~2 months after releasing dire maul. It feels slightly different somehow now. 0:09 - There's a huge gap, usually the mobs here are closer and often aggro. 0:24 - Sometimes there's 4 mobs here instead of 3. 2:43 - If I do this, I'll aggro the group to the right 90% of the time; usually the demon aggros late so there's a good chance he'll chase you. Aggroing them easier may have to do with their level. 4:26 - Blue guy was a shaman. The priest spams bubbles which would slow down the run; 33% chance of getting priest. if stars align and those 4 conditions are all good, then you get 1 chance to do it right, and hopefully FD doesn't get resisted. xD
It just takes practice. That being said, in this run there were definitely a lot of very lucky things that happened regarding perfect placement of 5 different patrols and the 2nd Eye of Kilrogg.

You're an absolute imbecile. This run is basic as fuck to do and there are no new tricks in here. It's just a really nice speed-run done well.

oh yeah let me solve that one use iron grenade instead of scatter shot on the first pack you're running by.
This allows you to scatter, the sheep.

Very impressive, good job!
Bro whats the song you used throughout the run tho!
:O the song from The Rock . great run
Best one I’ve seen yet
Wow beautifully skilled
Hey can you link your spec?
What is your pet spec for these runs?
Impressive! What exactly did you do at around 3:08, on which target did you send pet? I didnt see you were targeting a mob before
I didn't send it to a target, petstay position in the corridor I just entered, then pull and pressed pet passive to make it return to stay position

Me too ;D
