Actually, dragstrips have grippy asphalt for the cars to have better grip, but it ends up being a sticky mess if you walk on it without proper footwear. Big fan of you, Kris 😊😊

It’s more her lower back, plus I feel like, as a previous commenter said, open hands would be more stable.
Eh there’s a few reasons you’d do that.
Stability isn’t an issue because she’s fairly stable and there are plenty of people.
Keeping your wrist aligned reduces risk to the fire fighters wrist, and most fire fighters are nursing some kind of injuries with limbs. So it could just be that he has wrist problems.
Using fist like that means he can lift higher whilst keeping in the stronger part of his range of motion. Which if you’re holding a weight above your head like this will matter.
Source: I have spent plenty of time holding people in bizarre ways as a fire fighter.
I'm sure she'll name her wheelchair after him when his total lack of grip causes her a spinal injury.

Well, that hot oil reminds me on how I accidentally started a grease fire, and had to call the fire department. My anxiety was through the roof, that when I finally calmed down, I passed out and slept for 5 hours.

Fyi for anyone wondering, the person that was stuck was in the staging area of a drag strip. That area is where the cars do a burnout to warm the tyres, it also lays rubber down on the track to make it even stickier. This makes the car grip more when its launched, resulting in a faster time.

8:28. That happened to my fiancée when she was 12. but she broke her leg and arm. She went to her parents and her parents told her to “walk it off”. She was in so much pain that she took her older brother’s skateboard and leapt all the way to my house (which in an other part of the city). I was babysitting my siblings and I heard her knock on the door. I opened the door and she was on the ground, leg twisted all the way back arm shaped like an S and overall crying out a lake.
I called my other brother(who was 20 at the time) and this is what I said to him: “Konstantin, get your ass here. My bae has a broken leg and needs to get to the emergency room right now!” So he came and we took her with us to the emergency room (along with our 4 other siblings).
Jesus crist, I’m sorry idk who the parents are to you but that is horrible parenting, what the hell thats fucked up. Walk it off? If that was me as soon as I got better I’d put them through what I went through and tell them to walk it off and then leave them to find their own way to get help
