When I was in China, I just went on the "Little Red Book" (Mao Zedong's quotations in 1967 were called Little Red Book). The front page was full of foreigners, mostly Americans. Thanks to the US government's ban on tiktok, the Chinese users of Little Red Book could directly communicate with the American people, which made the world smaller. I feel like the firewall is missing now!
