A 3 part series on this 1/16th scale Heng Long RC Russian T90 MBT rebuild. This is part 3 where I make a mod to the battery, and take the model out for a test drive

STUNNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
I found a pic of a T-90A with T-72 ERA added to the skirts (sponsons). So i bought the T-72 parts and mounted the ERA on my T-90 ..... I just wish mine was "green" ..... :-)
Very nice 👌
Is it worth it to get the metal hull for more realistic driving simulation and durability?
For Durability I will say that I have never broke or damaged a tank with a plastic hull ever. From my experience the metal hulls are more of a solution looking for a problem and a placebo effect for the owner then anything else.
I guess I'm a tankist, because these Russian tanks all look alike to me.
Nope wrong these tanks have their own personalities in need of loving homes🤔
There is even an entire metal lower hull as an option, but it is pretty expensive. I have both the HL T-72 (no ERA) with the metal hull and a T-90 on a plastic hull which may end up converted into a TOS-1A which can use the T-72 or T-90 lower hull.
I'm kicking myself for not getting the standard T72, they have all vanished since HL modded the molds to give you the ERA. I do want the ERA one, but a standard T72 would have been cool too
@@oddball759mm The ERA version isn't all that well thought out either. Before it's released, I had already started mounting a Trumpeter T72B1 upper to my T72 plastic lower. The Trumpeter version is much better detailed and more correct. Trumpeter does make a non-ERA version also in 1/16. With a little work, it fits the HL lower hull. The older T72 that was produced before HL was done by DeAgostini and sold as a magazine subscription.
I still would rather work with the HL one, RC converting a static kit or kit bashing the two is something I have zero interest or desire in doing. I would rather just stick with the HL one and work with that for an RC build and get the trumpeter version and build that solely as a static piece.
I imagined something like this would be more capable
Are you a supporter of the Z's or?
So if someone builds a model of a Tiger one tank does that make them a national socialist? Lame question dude…
