The best part of all of these videos, is that you are cooking a nice single (maybe single and a half) portions. A perfect sized dinner. And no leftovers to get lost in the fridge. I am going to try and make this! I love ginger and garlic and this just looks and sounds filling and refreshing! (and the cabbage dressing really sounds nice!) Thank you Champ!
I can't wait to see what you serve up next.

I'm eating this as I post this. Fantastic recipe! I really love things that take a few ingredients so I don't get overwhelmed by a list, the only I didn't have at home was the ginger and I picked some up this afternoon and then made it. Really tasty! Thanks Champ! I'll keep coming back for more of these if you keep making them!

Ryosuke-san, it would be nice to have a video of the basic Japanese pantry--the ingredients most commonly used--as well as a discussion of how to find the highest quality ingredients/brands. For instance, shoyu (soy sauce) has a lot of uses and grades of production and aging, and some are not so great, while others are better suited for finishing a dish. I appreciate your clear instructions and demonstrations!
