For anyone that doesn’t know they didn’t do the signature Nickerson turn drill they usually do. Due to some members testing positive before the bowl rehearsals, they had to sub in some student staff members (members that handle equipment and don’t March/perform) to March the parade and pregame, so they didn’t have time to learn the drill for the turn. Also it’s kinda hard to teach people that haven’t marched in years to do such a complicated drill. Regardless, still the best damn band in the land!

Good performance as always. I wanted to see their traditional drill turn at Colorado but it didn't happen this year. Beautiful parade as always!

Such a traditional band with a great sound. The all brass band concept is interesting.
Do they teach incoming woodwind players to play brass or is this something they
already have to know how to do upon entering OSU? I've often wondered that.
And the band directors are in step with the band wearing uniforms. Such a nice
touch.

Also Dennis, its nice seeing you here outside of the emc productions videos haha, you should make it to a summer session sometime between July and August when the people auditioning are being prepped for auditions. The drumline always practices before we head to the field and do block band. You would get a kick out of all the snares on slings haha.
