Ann Nee once In 5th grade we were aloud to have snacks in class while we worked before art music or pe (it was different every day) and a piece of apple skin was stuck in my throat and I almost chocked. I ran and got some water and it luckily went down all the way. Now I am kind of scared it will happen again so I don’t really eat the skin. That's not how steak works
Actually it isn't blood at all. It's a protein called myoglobin mixed with the natural water content (no, cooking doesn't make the myoglobin disappear, it's still in the steak). Protein denatures as it cooks, which causes water loss. When you cook a steak to well done, part of what you've done is dry it out, leading to tougher, dryer, flavorless steak. Sure, there are ways to counteract these issues such as extra seasoning, brining, and sous vide, but why bother with the extra work when you can have all the flavor and juiciness by simply cooking it a little less? TL;DR: Well done steak has no less "blood" than a rare steak, it just has less water.

When using knives, never cut like she does... you'll cut your fingertips off... curl your hands inside and use your smaller knuckle joints on your fingers as a guide to cut... for sure it may be faster, but risking your fingers to save a few seconds isn't worth it in my opinion.

Instead of nomming randomly, eat one row from one end to the other. Then use that gap you've created by putting your teeth into that gap (bottom or top teeth, doesn't matter), then "pull" the next row out instead of "biting" it. That's how I eat it so that it leaves the cob clean instead of so much wasted stuff that's still sticking to it. Biting it just mushes up the kernels and leaves alot of corn still stuck to the cob. More efficient to "pull" each kernel out from the root.
