I always build mage bane because it is what I'm comfortable with but the cannonball and enhanced basic attacks from physical bane with penetration items is definitely waaaaay scarier.

If you're playing sidelane or even brawl mode,mage bane is another great option. With magic build,u can easily push towers and have great heal. I prefer the mage version more,even in jungle.
Playing damage heroes on the exp lane is not ideal tho , u already have enough damage from your jungle and gold lane , its better to go tank exp or at least a sustain exp hero

tbh, hanabi made sense on the WoN vs Natalia part. I frequently use natalia and she usually 1 shot to the point that you won't have the time to tap your WoN and even if you survive, she can use her 2nd skill to be immune on your basic attacks
Then build a little bit of defense like warrior boots, so you actually have time to press it, duh. I’m an Irithel main and Natalia is my food. That hanabi just dumb. I always get these kinds of players (players who keep getting one shotted but never build some kind of defense) whenever I’m 1 star away from glory. Like the dark system is so fucking obvious.

Bane fysical dmg build depen on enemy position if their close toghether u can shine like support in enemy team but magic build dont rely on enemy postion one skill 2 and ult kill all them together
Atm I picked Bane for the last 10+ games and have a 80+ wr with him. Instead of using physical build, I use magic build (Only bc of the 2nd and 3rd skill the 2nd heal is crazy) and I keep telling people "Bane magic meta"

ive been maining bane for a few years now and hes actually really strong if you know how to play him well. Its almost a requirement for good micro and macro though since he doesnt have a dash skill and you need to hit your cannon shots. Something i noticed is that mage bane kind of fell off recently with some old item changes, his early game is really rough and it takes really long for him to pay off. On lower ranks its still fine though since hes still a decently simple character to play
