PS2 Gameplay / Review: Tekken 4

A new video in the Tekken series and a game I haven't played in a very long time. Tekken 4 for the Playstation 2, introduces 3 new fighters to the game, as well as old faces that shouldn't be alive. The battle continues between Heihachi, Jin, and a resurrected Kazuya.

Tekken 4 for me personally was one of my favorites due to the story and presentation it had. I understand why it's the black sheep in the series with certain characters locked, Jin's move style changed, level design, etc. However, I really enjoyed it a lot which made me go back T1 and T2 to play the originals after starting the series with T3. I never beaten Tekken Force and if I was in your shoes I'd probably be frustrated to because the farthest I got on there was the last stage and never got to Heihachi. Overall, the game isn't perfect be any means but it gave me stories that felt a bit ambitious and wanted me to care for the characters and their journey. I can't wait for your Tekken 5 review on what you think on that one.

Definitely, there was one thing I forgot to add, which was that the stories of most character's are more depressing and sad, like giving up all hope and becoming alcoholic bums. The story has gotten more serious, at it's still gonna get darker. Can't wait to start Tekken 5.
