Wow Brendan what a mental session you had and on lots of different lures. Great that you kept the warnings going through out on the conditions 👍 Just a shame that you didn't find anything of size but great fun none the less 😊
Good upload mate, I always wear A inflatable life jacket when fishing at night,it’s very easy to make a mistake and very hard to get yourself out of the brutal cold winter sea as I’ve learned before..I also use wading shoes that I can swim in ,and have clip on studs if needed for weedy rocks, plus use extra strong flouro leader 65mm for night fishing to lift the fish from the rocks as I don’t want to climb down rocks at night.I love night fishing myself it throws up big Bass, best time for Cudas over here too , look forward to your next uploads tightlines for 2024 😎🐟🇪🇸
Darren cheers mate really appreciated yeah gotta be so careful at night yeah defo gonna use a leader next time cheers for watching mate plenty new videos to come 👍👍🎣
Definitely extra safety when rock fishing at night in winter seas mate, them inflatable life jackets you don’t even know it’s on ,they blow up if you hit the water or pull the cord.definitely the thick FlouroCarbon really helps lifting them out at night but I mostly use 65mm for soft plastics, jigs, if Iam using minnows as well I,ll go down to 50mm to get a better movement out of the lure, the hard FlouroCarbon is the best for lifting ,the cheap stuff from delcathlon is good for this , footwear wise for rock fishing that’s light with very good grip Most of Addis Terrex range are really good for this . I hope this helps you abit, tightlines for 2024 mate 😎🐟🇪🇸
Stiofain yeah and no with the rough I’ve have some great sessions when it’s flat calm and great sessions in the rough it’s just knowing where the bass are at the state of tide I like fishing over rocks boulders in the dark as the bass sit and wait for bait to go over 👍👍🎣
Nice one! Mate can I ask, now it’s strong winds and more waves, I’m thinking of getting a rod to chuck a heavier lure. I prefer short rods 7-8ft looking for something 20-60g to get some metals out. Any rod suggestions? I’m going off the beach
Hi matey thanks for watching I use my savage gear sgs2 savage gear rod it’s 20-60g and works amazing In big tides and high winds cost £70 from predator tackle.co.uk it’s well worth the money hope this helps mate 👍👍🎣
@@c.ifishingguernsey that sounds bang on, I have the sgs8 that use in summer / spring. But it’s a bit long off rocks, so yeah that sounds awsome. What length is that one? I will pop it in my basket!
