Thank you for your comparison efforts. I really appreciate the time you put into your examples and detailed narration. I subscribed right away when I saw your Conan analysis and my wife and I have enjoyed your past and follow-up videos.
OMG!!! I can't wait either. I bought the directors cut on DVD years ago and was disappointed in how terrible that cut was. Totally destroyed the feel of the movie. I have been unable to find an original/theatrical cut of this movie for years. I can finally replace the DVD copy.
I can't get a hold of the 4k here in the UK, so I will have to import it, I think. So, I picked up the blu ray in the meantime and was really impressed with the picture. But the 4K seems the way to go
Having played the 4k release through a playstation 5 and not adjusting any settings, I found the picture quality to be far too dark and contrasts out a lot of the finer detail. Also the background grain is jarringly noticeable to the point of being a distraction and unsubmersive. I thought the Imprint release bluray was better picture quality overall.
Really? I play my 4Ks through my PS5 too and I thought that this 4K release was spectacular! I didn't find it that dark at all and the quality of the picture is outstanding. Some of the details you notice that you didn't with the Blu Ray is what made me smile. The filament inside the Light Bulb, the Neons pop, the colours and materials of the clothes, sound quality, just everything. I was very impressed with this!
Next month it's The Warriors 45th anniversary Can you dig it?
4K looks much better, and the fact that they included the theatrical cut, the 4k is a winner!!!

Oh thanks so much for your kind words. I truly appreciate it. Comments like this make it worth the work.
another fantastic release from Arrow...finally the theatrical cut gets a uhd release
Skin tones looked very magenta in the 4K stills here.
notice at 2:19 you can actually see the brightness of the filament inside of the light bulb on the 4k version
Can't wait for this one
I have the new Warriors 4k here at home still in shrinkwrap... Looking forward to watching this before i crack it open
Great video. I did laugh a bit around the 1:05 mark when I noticed your slide has HDR20 not HDR10. Maybe this video is from the future? :)
Lol oops. Hey typos happen 🤣

If you got the imprint bluray that is sourced from the same 4k scans as this 4KUHD is.
No, i dont think that's the version i have. I'm gonna get the 4K. Great video btw @TwinFlicks
@AduderReviews thanks man !
Hard to find the 4k Version.
The box set was limited and is now out of print. You can buy the standard edition anywhere a.co/d/g1x11iJ
@@TwinFlicks I'm cool with it as long as it's the 4k UHD version
So this is the first Director's Cut Bluray vs the new 4Kbluray & HD
It's the directors cut bluray vs the directors cut 4k

@ChrisPBacon-nd7qe yes otherwise movies will look like garbage
I dont believe you on the bluray of the warriors,I watched that last month and there is no way it looked as bad as your screenshots.
What did you have to compare it to side by side. These images are taken directly from the previous bluray and the 4K. So Believe what you want.
The idiots like myself that paid $90 for the IMPRINT bluray would like to see that vs. the 4k.
Send it to me and I'll be happy to do so. From what I'm told by my rep this is sourced from what Imprint used.
the imprint version does contain some extras that the 4k doesn't have
So is it worth the upgrade?@@nickcarroll5034
