If her name is not on the deed/lease then he has to serve her a 30-day Quit, then take her to eviction court. Either way, even if Charles owned the property he can’t just boot Hazel all Willy-Nilly.
Thats right. In most states, you can't just kick someone out of your house if they live there and get mail. Once someone has been living in your home for 30 days, they have residency. I wouldn't have left that house if I were her.
