Living Things personally is LP’s crowning moment. I’m sorry if I make enemies but it kicks HT’s butt from here to the end of LP’s career. There’s no song you can compare Roads Untraveled to, and even though I give it a Diamond status of accolades I’ll admit that the only song I don’t like is Until It Breaks. It just felt choppy and didn’t fit well with the structure sonically of LT’s. Although The Hunting Party kind of helped cathartically at the time I felt like we learned more with LT’s era. It carried the torch of HT and Meteora, it took the simplicities of MTM, and paved the way for THP, but OML just wanted the comfort of LT and expand on it
