Have to say that was absolutely superb! Thank you so much Lowri & Claire :) I've interviewed Lowri 2x on my blog and she's always full of insights and so honest too. Some great tips in this live chat for Lakeland 50 attempt this July. Thanks again :
Really hope Dragon's Back isn't your last ultra Lowri but as said on Twitter if it is, I couldn't think of a more appropriate way for you to finish. You're an inspiration!
Diolch yn fawr iawn! Ysbrydoledig/Inspirational! I’m meeting Lowri soon to get tips on how to run the Original Everest Marathon in December to celebrate my 70th birthday in June. We are very proud of her here in Cymru/Wales. Wild Ginger Running is a great channel. Pob hwyl/Best wishes. Geoff
Choice interview, even though it looks like a awesome fun & a challenge, just can’t understand how it is possible to train for a 200-300 mile race, plus run a family, hope the knee comes right, good luck 👍
Wild Ginger Running interesting what you said, I think she is a awesome person & it was a great interview, but I can’t help thinking, at what stage does it past the point where it’s not good for you, pushing past the pain & destroying your own body, mmm I’m not trying to be rude, but I think If it gets to the point where you are destroying your own body, maybe there should be more correct type of training, if you really love the sport you shouldnt have to destroy our own body, just saying ✌️
I don't mean to belittle the feat but ultrarunning is continuous, with CPs along the way where you are disqualified if you don't make it in time. This, although a long distance, is not ultrarunning but fun running. Given the time anyone can make it, given tight cutoff times and it becomes a sport for the very, very few...
402 starters, 230 odd finishers, 15,000m- almost twice the height of Everest, 5 days. Ultra running takes different forms, see you on start line in 2021?
This interview is wonderful - Lowri your energy & passion for running and life is infectious. I’ve so enjoyed listening this! Thank you both!

Hi Claire, it would be a pleasure to chat about training etc. I’ll be in touch after the big adventure! Best wishes to you and the channel.
