Tbh her voice is not bad at all, that woman knows how to sing. But the fact that that they put "Rythm Nation" in a Cinderella movie gets me. Like did the producer close his eyes and say "YA, this will work good" lmao. Also, it would've been more appropriate if an actual actor played the Cinderella role. Also, the lyrics can be only described in 2 ways: Nonsensical OR a completely different Cinderella XD

I know this movie is silly but I really enjoyed it, especially some of the left of centre song choices and the fact the characters weren't entirely what you'd expect, especially the stepmother :) the actors weren't bad and it's really colorful :)

I feel the same way. As someone who always loved Cinderella since watching the Walt Disney version, I was more drawn to the supporting cast than the lucky girl in the glass slippers.

You should try watching the version with Brandy and Whitney Houston (and a plethora of other actors). It's really good! All original songs (actually done right). No shade, just my opinion. It's called Roger & Hammerstein's Cinderella, I believe.
