I really wish more people knew about this great mobile game. It is a welcome difference between those crappy play to win games and bad "waiting games." When I say waiting games, I mean games that make you wait a long time for upgrades, assets, etc. And when you're finished waiting for upgrades in those games, you get more crap to wait for! Games such as clash of clans and those other space fleet building games. I hate them! They aren't games! They pressure you to do micro transactions! Yes, interstellar pilot has waiting and micro transactions. But you aren't pressured into micro transactions and when you wait for something in interstellar pilot, you aren't rewarded with more waiting. I can't find a game like interstellar pilot on the app stores. Interstellar pilot is an underrated gem of a game. It is truly the greatest mobile game of all time!

It depends on how you use them, for example I use the EQ for trading and a mobile base because of its unique feature where a small ship could rearm in its hanger, while I use the X for combat. It really depends on how you use them.
They removed the game from Apple playstore?
Unfortunately, they did. In my knowledge, they removed due to lack of update. My IP2 is still available in Steam and Playstore.

You're right sentinel is a must have in every ship and stations. As it is the only weapon that can intercept those hurtful missile.
Only if your ship doesn't have electronic countermeasures
Ai doesn't really spam missiles, and their damage is spread across shields, but if you don't invade with overwhelming firepower I can see sentinel being useful
Or just hex edit countermeasures in the passenger slot
