Mine barks when I shift to high aswell. I dont know mechanic stuff, can you simply explain how I fix the "mixture" what I lack in mechanical knowledge I make up in noise and enthusiasm.
For some reason, my mastiff redbone mix loves your voice. A guy has an afternoon off, tryna have a few cold snacks and big Bertha just wants to be on my lap.
the other light is a temp light and has a fuse that blows from time to time. thanks for the carb rebuild video...getting ready to do mine. the e brake has 2 adjustment nuts that can be used to tighten the cable up...if it gets too loose it can touch the positive terminal on the battery.
I remember as a kid my uncle had one of those. I had great fun with it learning how tires lose traction in different terrains then I got real cocky and broke it drifting it in the winter one year... He never let me drive it again
Why thank you!.. We are happy with our slow, but steady growth... that said.. if you feel like sharing a vid with a friend we certainly would appreciate it!
Just had an issue with mine yesterday and found it was the fuel pump getting plugged up from a rusty tank. After cleaning the tank I didn’t think to clean the fuel pump because it still pumped. Amateur hour! It would pump, but not very well. I put both inlet and outlet hoses in a seafoam can and hot wired the pump. The idle is smooth now in my Kawasaki! Just something that might help if you need too.
Awww D ! You mean you got to put a lift kit in now ? COOL ! Before someone mistaken's it for a golf cart , it's going to need long travel with super swappers . At first I was thinking Eric and Doug will makeshift a Rochester two barrel onto it but I see a small block implant in its future . Oh buddy buck , just know you gonna make us proud somehow ✌️ This is actually an awesome little machine to traverse the estate . It will prove to be useful . Special thanks to the misses for her dads contribution 😀
Man I tell you what I was nervous last week when you said you gave her some Cosby last week and she did not pop off. I’m glad it was nothing major, and you have yourself a new yard ride. It Will make moving those future DOA’s up the old driveway more entertaining for sure. Do they sell “marine fuel” around you ?? The ethanol free gogo juice ?? If so I would advising running her on that. Especially because she will be sitting around for periods of time. We can get it right from the pump here and I run my 57 Chevy and all my power equipment with it.
Yea, i was nervous also. Just wet plugs THANKFULLY. As for the non-ethanol gas.. I have to go to NY to get it which is a bit of a hike and I never think of it. I should do that for this though. Good call!
Which jet goes in the bowl? The ones with the smaller hole or bigger hole? I took out the jets in mine not thinking and can’t find out which goes where
@@DEInTheGarage thanks for the reply, you weren't kidding, they are proud of those must be nice to spend all that youtube money you are getting.... May spring for one down the road for now ill stick with the TV dinner trays.
Probably. I want to keep two things in mind.. I have now bypassed the neutral safety switch, and the 2 y/o executive producer LOVE playing on this thing. I am thinking pushbutton on the dash with a master on/off under the seat or something
Nice job man I do have a question though I would like to know how much of that carburetor cleaner got into that cup of coffee that was sitting right next to the carburetor you were spraying.... Amateur hour 😂👍
Really concerned for Mr. Amature using the Carb/ Brake cleaner with Toluene with NO protective gear, gloves, eye protection... and most notably, the open coffee cup on the bench getting filled with overspray. Mmmmmmmmm Toluene latte'. Maybe that's the cause of his armature hour issues?? Just sayin'
I know you will be pissed at me but I’m a life time mechanic and please ware safety glasses, I once had to fire a mechanic who lost a eye at work and refused to wear safety glasses, He lost his claim Dam shame to be so dam hard headed
23:17 I meant to say the IDLE is still a bit HIGH, not LOW. In the video it is very clear that the idle is too HIGH
Hey buddy keep up the minty videos 👌
Use some Seafoam on it
It probably also needs some use
Mine barks when I shift to high aswell. I dont know mechanic stuff, can you simply explain how I fix the "mixture" what I lack in mechanical knowledge I make up in noise and enthusiasm.
3 day old coffee with a little carb cleaner additive... my favorite!
It gives you that extra ZING to get through the day
Great job. You definitely need a winch out in the woods.
For some reason, my mastiff redbone mix loves your voice. A guy has an afternoon off, tryna have a few cold snacks and big Bertha just wants to be on my lap.
That might be the best compliment I have ever gotten.. "The dog likes your channel"

Thanks bud! I am new to the Mule world and need all the advice I can get
Glad you got it running. Y'all will have a ton of fun out of that
We really have been. We take it all over
You don't get a solid Wallflowers joke just anywhere!
I wasn't sure anyone would get that one..
I remember as a kid my uncle had one of those. I had great fun with it learning how tires lose traction in different terrains then I got real cocky and broke it drifting it in the winter one year... He never let me drive it again
Whoops! I cannot wait to get this thing sideways this winter. haha

That is good advice! This one is old and sat, so I probably have fuel tank issues. Mine is definitely rusting and might need replaced soon anyway

Last time I was this early, it was amateur hour... wait...
Which jet goes in the bowl? The ones with the smaller hole or bigger hole? I took out the jets in mine not thinking and can’t find out which goes where
I am honestly not sure without looking at one, sorry. I want to say small, but I cannot be sure
Where is the vin number on the mule 2500? Just bought an old one and i need to find parts & get it running!
Do you not have an ultra sonic cleaner or acid dip ???
Really a good idea 😊
mine wouldn't start because the transmission switch was loose (the shut off if you have it in gear) think that would fix your jumper wire problem
Gawd man you remind me of me n my dad on the farm fixing stuff
gotta have fun with it, aye bud?
Maybe wire up a momentary switch for the "contact" start? Then you could say you have a push to start kowasaki.
LOL... That is a fine idea!
Hey, where did you get the carb rebuild kit? Need to rebuild ours and cant find a kit anywhere
Did you talk about main jet location vs pilot jet location? I think I put mine in wrong.
hi, where are the junk yards you go to I'm in queens ny no such thing here. Do you have a favorite?
Closest to you would be Harry's there are 3 all in eastern PA.
Stellar video…thanks
Many thanks!
May have missed it but what do you call and where do you acquire one of those orange trays.
Here is that link. I warn you.. they are NOT cheap, but I have fallen in love with mine. www.grypmat.com?aff=DEinthegarage

Lol I need a “good enough for government work” decal to slap on my Government Motors truck.
LOL... see this guy knows what I mean
That’s the same hit I got that had all the parts in it 😊
Replace the fuse by the battery and you should be able to start with key
Great fun video 😊
Ive never been good with carbs and or clutch work. So thank you, this video was fun for me to watch. Oh, and 🐻⬇️
BEAR DOWN! Glad you enjoyed it. Carb are intimidating, but once you start digging in, they get more simple
you still looking for an intake for the dakota?
Nope. I got an edelbrock dual plane. Just need a carb... and ignition system
Just slap a stop sign or two in that box and you're good to go!
That is exactly what I did... and some plywood for the cab floor
Always use premium non ethanol fuel!!
For sure in any air cooled engines
Looks like fun
Definitely was!
First. Love the videos. Keep up the gorgeous d work.
Just put a push button for the starter wire...
Probably. I want to keep two things in mind.. I have now bypassed the neutral safety switch, and the 2 y/o executive producer LOVE playing on this thing. I am thinking pushbutton on the dash with a master on/off under the seat or something
Buy a harbor freight ultasonic cleaner a must have for carburetors
The needle is "fine"... a subconcious combination dad joke and double entendre. Nicely played.
LOL.. right?
😂😂
Good enough for gov't work. My dad used to say that!
Sounds like a good man
Nice job man I do have a question though I would like to know how much of that carburetor cleaner got into that cup of coffee that was sitting right next to the carburetor you were spraying.... Amateur hour 😂👍
I noticed that in editing! Oh well
Yo animalllll I live in Brooklyn....you know any good jeep funk yard for a good old government worker???!!
Geez guy. You didn't engage your safety squints while using that brake clean! How many fingers am I holding up 👌?
7.. no 3... frig, I am still a little foggy in that eye
You forgot to air down when you went into the dirt bike trail, that’s why it got stuck 😂
This unit has them auto airing down tires if you catch my drift..
@@DEInTheGarage haha love it 😊
Easier to remove the manifold attachment bolts and lift it all of
all that gas must have slipped past the rings and go into the oil and thin it, change it broooo now !!!!!!!!
I mentioned in the video that I did change it directly after that first start before taking it down the road
