  • The FBI told lawmakers Wednesday that the agency is still working to determine what motive Thomas Matthew Crooks had in attempting to shoot and kill Donald Trump. Former Secret Service agent Paul Eckloff says the best way to understand Crooks' motive is to look at the "history of shooters in America."

What antidepressants/antipsychotics was he prescribed? Those definitely can cause suicidal/homicidal thoughts. And 15-20% of adults in the US are on them...

Yes, they can. I changed psych meds today. What the mainstream media isn't saying is there has been an anecdotal increase in anxiety just bc of Trump. They also try to sweep most suicides under the rug. I'm lucky to have made it past my 20s.

He was taking blue pills. Stop blaming this shit on everything but the rhetoric the democrats have been pushing. Crazy how fast democrats change their energy when on the defensive.

It already was verified by the FBI that Thomas had no known mental illness.

@@0NeverEver He had virtuous patriotism, wanting to protect us from an evil man loose in our society wanting power again after screwing us. My empathy & sympathy to our fine Secret Service agents tasked to protect a traitor who's a clear & present danger. How absurd & insulting to those professionals!?

But how on earth could they not have seen that he was having a gun right away, when a secret service counter sniper team was literally covering the side across from him on the other building and taken him out immideately???!!!

Wait? He was diagnosed by whom? Where did you learn that? He was not bullied - his school counselor said he wasn’t.

I believe the kids, not the adults. Kids generally don't tell an adult that they are bullied.

Crooks is said to have researched depression on the internet but unlike this fella's claim he wasn't diagnosed as suffering from this condition. It all seems strange, a supposedly mentally ill 20 year old still living with his parents outsmarts the most sophisticated security force in history, a guy with 3 encrypted overseas accounts which he contacted just prior to carrying out his attempted assassination.

Considering kids would bully him by saying he looked like a mass killer, it's kind of obvious what his intentions were. I can only assume his parents were probably neglectful and awful. He got double whammied. Horrible upbringing/home environment, as well as a traumatizing school life. The 2 places we spend most of our time for the majority of our brain development. I feel bad for him. I also feel bad for the victims in the incident. Crappy all around.

Agree. He looked different and acted different. That WILL get you bullied in Jr high and high school. I guarantee it.

It's not not the motive. It was a cover-up it was a setup.. they always talk about the motive they're looking for a motive. The motive is common sense. The mode of a self-evident . No motive needed. Automotive is not important.. it's a method of operation.

Love how mental health keeps being used as an excuse to implement what is known in any heavy industry the hierarchy of controls on safety. It is mind blowing 🤯....elimination is the 1st control...go take a lesson from Australia and New Zealand.
