First of all, Robyn says that she's not married to the OG3,but...she also says their money is all interconnected. Robyn doesn't have any money. The OG3 had to support Robyn and her kids.

They legally can’t and have no right to any of the money they gave them. In order to qualify for a mortgage any money given to you must be considered a “gift” with no expectations of repayment. Janelle and Meri would have had to sign letters stating they gave them the money free and clear. Otherwise, they would not have qualified for the mortgage.

Her and Kody took monies from Meri and Janell to buy their home. So, Robyn needs to cough up the monies to both Meri and Janell plus reasonable interest or the growth percentage of their monies the home has increased to.

Way back in Season 1 he called Meri “Lover” a couple of times but that ended shortly after Robyn came on the scene. This whole show has been a sham. I’m just disgusted with it all.
I did see him call Christine Love a couple of times in early seasons.

@buttercup bad credit doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t have cash or other assets that can benefit another. Janelle shelled out the money from her 401k to pay off Robyn’s debt and move.
I also think the bankruptcy claims were a way to avoid paying debts. Basically fraud. It’s not uncommon for these types of polygamist fundies to defraud the government. It’s seen as “bleeding the beast” among some of the groups.
Robyn is acting so smug for a woman that didn’t have a pot to piss in. She was always a taker, as though her presence there was worth millions and they better pay up. And pay up, they always did! What a terrible person she has always been!!
Janelle saw Robin a mile away when she found out about Meri and Kody divorcing. She knew Robin would Never be fair to the other families.
Janelle isn't that smart. After Meri and Kody divorced Janelle STILL gave him money from the sale of her house in Vegas to use to buy the house he lives in with Robyn. If Janelle saw things from a mile away she would never have handed over that money.

She can’t do that! Cody intends to use those two girls to get back in good with his community. Young girls are a commodity to them, remember? Even if they choose to stay monogamous, I see them staying in the Mormon church. And there are plenty of arranged marriages in the more main stream organization than they will ever admit. Kody sees women as his property, and that includes Robin’s two oldest girls. I just pray that they see the light and get out before it’s too late.

Robyn is stupid. If Kody kept his name on all the mortgages, it would have kept him tied to the money should the properties have sold. But it was a blessing for Christine because she took all the money to move away from him and rightfully so. Janelle was stupid for giving them money and always living in rental units. If I were Christine, I would have signed over the land on Coyote Pass to Janelle NOT Robyn and Kody.

I was shocked when Christine deeded her part of Coyote Pass to Kody & Robyn. I thought for sure she would give it to Jannelle, but maybe she felt guilty, on some level, because Kody didn’t get any of the proceeds of the sale of her house, which she didn’t owe him to begin with. I don’t know.
From what I've learned so far about polygamy, it seems like it may be typical for everyone but the favored wife to live in crappy apartments ( often paying rent to the "husband").

Robyn for many years, especially in the first few seasons, talked like she knew it all about polygamy. She never lived in the same home with other families, even while growing up. No one is saying she didn't have a valid life experience. But she never lived polygamy like the Browns did. in that sense, Christine was right. Robyn had no place to talk like she was the expert in The Browns' style of polygamy because she simply wasn't.

I remember something about Kody getting his name off Christine's home in Flagstaff. He couldn't get the mortgage with Robyn if he was also responsible for another mortgage with Christine. He got off that FOR ROBYN to be able to qualify for the mortgage on the almost $900,000.00 house she wanted. Then, six months later they took out an 'equity loan' of $150,000.00 on that house. They might have a little equity by now, unless they have added to the loans. Kody's more into 'flash' than true ownership. He thinks if he 'has it in his possession' it's enough, even if he's hardly made any payments.

I remember a scene where Robyn said that she didn't want Kody around all of the time during the pandemic. She was blowing smoke up the other wives ass. She had exactly what she wanted. You could see the wheels turning in Janelle’s head when told Kody told her he was divorcing Meri to marry Robyn (for the kids). Despite their difficult relationship, Janelle trusted that Meri would look out for the other wives. Robyn not so much. It made me so mad to see Janelle living in an RV while Kody and Robyn lived it up in her mini-mansion. I’m glad they got away from the toxic duo.

To remove his name off Christines mortgage was a move that only benefited Christine, not him or Rob'em, so they clearly didn't realise that they were financially cutting themselves off from financial gains! I think it was the best thing to happen for Christine in all those years he was married to her. He didn't give her anything else except a ton of debt incurred by Rob'em. I completely agree, however, Robyn is the controlling one, Robyn is the one who isolates herself and her family and cuts contact, has complete control of her family, Robyn is the self described "introvert" who doesn't have friends. This likely means that it was her idea to isolate and ice out the other wives which was the whole reason for the move to Flagstaff, so Ko-Ro get have their privacy. This gives credence to Robyn never wanting polygamy, she doesn't care about any of the Browns including Kody, her only love is money, money was her only goal.

This information is absolutely true. We helped my brother with his down payment of 15k for his house. They requested all kinds of bank records from us because we "gifted" him money for the down payment.

Oh, how frustrating to hear Robyn in these clips. I haven't watched the show for several seasons, so it's nice to see these clips. Sadly, when the OG3 were living this life, I don't think any of them thought the level of lies and manipulation was this bad. And because Meri was on team Kody and Robyn, I totally see where Janelle and Christine lumped Meri in with them.
