Intaglio Printing with Akua Inks on a Solarplate

Susan Rostow, inventor of Akua Intaglio and Liquid Pigment Inks, demonstrates how to print an intaglio plate and create platetone on a photopolymer Solarplate. Video includes examples of intaglio monoprints and a finished work used to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind artist book. Akua Inks' unique working properties are highlighted throughout the demonstration including their extended working time, ease in wiping the plate, and soap and water cleanup.
