Just skied this run a few days ago!!! Tons of snow and rode out through the trees once we got to the bottom of summit direct!! 4,000’ of vert in one run. Epic.

Awesome! Glad to hear the snow is plentiful. Can't wait to shred NSS again soon!

How would you compare this run to the Gullies?

This run is a little harder than the Gullies. If you can comfortably do Gully 1 top to bottom and the upper part of Gully 2 then you should be able to ski the route shown in the video. You do need avi gear though. Gully 3 is much harder than this.

Yes you do. Beacon and partner. We had both.

That doesn’t look worthy of a triple diamond. Obviously it must be way steeper than it looks? Also if it’s got moguls it is quite a bit more difficult or moguls covered in powder?

I believe it's not necessarily because of the steepness. North Summit Snowfield isn't too steep. It's more of the exposure in the event of a fall. Great Falls is probably the steepest run in that area and is most deserving of a triple black rating. But yes, these runs aren't the steepest, but they are still extremely steep and dangerous.
