    I just bought a 3 piece set hammers today. Impressed so far (coming from snap on hammers), similar feel. Really liking the 4lb mini sledge thing is a beast and will be my goto hammer. I just wish their brass options weren’t so expensive...

    The 4lb sledge from Wilton is one of my favorite hammers of all time. Use it almost every single day for about 2 years now and no issues

    I bought the 24oz because i was tired of replacing the wood handle on it and after a week of using it i bought the 32oz. Excellent

    Great Video. I have a Wilton mini-sledge. Been using it professionally for 5 years, at least. Has performed better than many cheaper versions and is going strong til this day.

    Those came out in 2007 I think. I was a Matco dealer. Since they were billed as unbreakable I would tell customers who were thinking about buying one that if they broke it in the normal course of work I’d warranty it and pay them $100. I never had to warranty one or pay out the $100.

    My old Mac anti vibe is either taking a ride on a leaf spring somewhere, got stollen, or it's gonna show up soon as I order a Wilton.

    • @sethc758
      @sethc758 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But it is a Mac... so I may just order the Wilton anyway

      You will like that Wilton. We have beat the piss out of it and it’s still going. In the NAPA real deals specials this month they have the Wilton 6.5 “ vise with the free Wilton hammer for $166 ........ take a look at that combo. Both lifetime warranty and it isn’t that much more than the hammer alone !

    I have the large deadblow for tire work. Heavy duty diesel mechanic here as well. I love it, but the rubber tears open on the head from hitting rims. I recommend the BluePoint dead blow sledge personally, it's even bigger than the wilton one.

    I like my 32oz ball peen. I was also considering a Groz branded unbreakable. It looks very similar but is orange. I think they are about the same price give or take

    I have their 4lb mini-sledge and their Tradesman vise. I'm a home gamer, not a pro. Wasn't sure how I'd use a 4lb hammer with a 16" handle (it came with the vise). Once I got it, holding it choked up high, it delivers a quick accurate strike on a punch and that sort of thing. Like it a lot! A useful tool. I have a couple of deadblows, and would like to get their 3-pounder.

    Didn't look like the vibration hurt the man's hand much. I have in a tight spot struck a hammer with a sledge hammer and it hurt so bad it shattered the smaller hammer handle in my hand

    Did you barrow those hammers? 😂 They are very nice. My shop instructor at school has some and I’ve used them multiple times.

    Those hammers are the cats ass. Probably one of the best hammers I have ever used. We have a big sledge. I nicknamed it the BFH. You can beat the hell out of those and they keep ticking. I have the small engineers hammer as well. Very well weighted and balanced. Great video. You will love them

    Great video thanks brother. I don't own any of those hammer's but I am in the market for some new ones. I have all wood handle ballpen hammer's and they have years of work on them. I just want to upgrade a little bit at a time. I will keep my 10 pound sledge wood. I like it because no one else here will use it. I cut the handle down to do kingpins and spring hanger pins and bushings. I really want a great hammer that can be abused. Clay you know what I'm talking about in the line of work you and Bill do and TJ is finding out it's big and heavy. Thanks again sorry about rambling on. Keep up the great work see you in the next video.

      Scott Pearson TOOLS &MORE they are really good hammers. We honestly beat the hell out of them and they laugh at what we tossed at it ! For the price they are hard to beat !

    I have had my Bash hammers long enough there is very little green on them anymore....but they still work just great. Tough and the handles take much of the vibration out. Never come between a man and his sledge hammer 😀

    So better than snap on?
    Napa keeps comeing out and selling other brands to compete with snap on I really like that cause every city has a Napa so you can pick them up everywhere. And there lights are just like snap on lights

    • @KoonTrucking
      @KoonTrucking  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      matthew placencia they are different from a Snap On even though Snap On makes a nice hammer I’m going to have to go with the Wilton every time. It is an awesome hammer.

    • @bryandavis341
      @bryandavis341 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Snap on can get the hammers just the same as Napa. All in what the tool guy want to carry. They are better than Snappy, but they still make a great hammer.

      Joshua Odowd you won't break it. I tried and I've been told I could mess up an anvil in a sandbox lol. Mine was accidentally ran over by a track loader and it barely scuffed the damn thing. These are tough!
