{Q41:15} "they were arrogant upon the earth without right and said, Who is greater than us in strength? Did they not consider that Allāh who created them was greater than them in strength? But they were rejecting Our signs." {Q41:16} "So We sent upon them a screaming wind during days of misfortune to make them taste the punishment of disgrace in the worldly life; but the punishment of the Hereafter is more disgracing, and they will not be helped." {Q26:158} "And the punishment seized them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers." {Q27:52} "So those are their houses, desolate because of the wrong they had done. Indeed in that is a sign for people who know." {Q34:9} Then, do they not look at what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and earth? If We should will, We could cause the earth to swallow them or [could] let fall upon them fragments from the sky. Indeed in that is a sign for every servant turning back [to Allāh]."
Sunan Ibn Majah 1740 It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. It was said: “O Messenger of Allah, why do you fast on Mondays and Thursdays?” He said: “On Mondays and Thursdays Allah forgives every Muslim except two who have forsaken one another. He says: ‘Leave these two until they reconcile.’”
