Govee RGBIC Underglow LED lights install on Ram Rebel

- OK finally pulled the trigger on some underglow LED lights for my 2021 Ram Rebel. In this video I go over how I installed these lights and what I used to do it. Finally we will show what they look like in the dark as well as some special talent as we go over how the MIC capability of having the lights dancing to music works with various music genres.

Ordered the rocklights and undergrowth last week waiting for them to come in. With I would have gotten the 6 pack rocklights for my 2021 Silverado. Think it would have been cool to put 2 behind the grille.

Super entertaining and informative video! I just received these underglow lights and the 8 piece rock lights for my 14 Ram Sport. Did you ever get the rock lights? Post the video because I need your help! Haha.
So yes I ordered the rock lights immediately after finishing this video and I received them about 2 days later. I have just not had the time to do install them yet. I looked at it and the key is going to be taking the fender wells down to get them mounted though I will definitely post when I do the install but not sure how quick I am going to get to it..

Hey man I have a quick question hopefully you can answer it before tomorrow but I'm planning on hooking it up straight to the battery does it drain it if there off?
I haven't had an issue with it. My positive is connected to an always hot terminal with a fuse inline and I have not had a problem with it draining my battery.
Where did you put the 10amp fuse at or directly putting it to a hot bolt and a ground will save your battery?
I put that inline with the hot terminal post.
Can you buy a 10in extension for these lights?? I ordered the lights but could not find a extension for them.....????please help
I don't know about that. I think you will have to call Govee and check with them.
In the video,you said you cut the light strip, my question is where did you cut them at?
Man I don't remember cutting this light strip. If you do have to cut the light strip short though, you make the cut between the LEDs.

I'm sure you can do it. I am really not much of a car guy and I did it. Just take your time.
Did not work well for my Silverado Crew Cab with extended bed. Centering the long strip on the drivers side doesn't give me enough room to run the wires cleanly to the front. Don't like how the 2 strips were wired together for each side. There's about 105" between the wheels....worked fine for the passenger side though. Returning them and trying out the LEDGlow LED lights...if they don't work out for some reason, which they should, LowGlow is my last, most expensive, resort.
Ah that's a bummer man. Hopefully you will get something that works for you.
What AWG did you use to extend the wires?
I just used speaker wire.
also not sure if i saw correctly but for that ground it looked like it was covered in paint or did you sand it?
I want to say I scraped it down but I honestly can't remember at this point.
