I've bought quite a bit from them. Fishing tackle, household goods, wife's stuff too. Never had a problem with deliveries, payments or unsolicited emails.

This is by far your funniest video Trog! I've seen every video...and I'm so used to you being so meticulous about your guitars...seeing that poker chip flopping around while your demo had me rolling.😂😂...sometimes it's fun to get away from the collecting side of guitars and have fun with them..and sometimes you end up with a pretty descent guitar....I did something similar with a glarry 5 string bass..I put a badass style bridge on it bone nut and Wilkinson single coil jazz bass pups....I joke and say glarry got their upgrade pbass idea from me,I made my Jaz long before them! But yea,it's a descent bass,I play it all the time

I ordered the same fret end file from Temu. There was an offer for first time buyers so I think it was only about 3 dollars using the discount. Very well made tool actually. Havent ordered anything since then since its mostly seem to be cheap junk.

Guitar playing has gotten much much better lately . Good work ok everything . Would love to see a full in depth cleaning process on the fretboard and whole guitar . I trust whatever you say about a Gibson haha .

November 2024 i bought a Dlaso temu telecaster for $60.00 and $40.00 in solar lights. The tele copy was for me to learn guitar electronics (solar lights were garbage) but it was worth the learning experience. I abused the fake tele very cheaply and now understand how to properly upgrade good T style guitars. With the coupon i ordered a strat style so i can learn the S style guitar electronics. It should arrive in a couple days. Btw. The S style was only $29.95 with the coupon. Temu will annoy you every hour once they have your email address, and im sure theyre selling your email address
And always remember guys: It's OK to drive a car with 3/4 of all parts beeing from China, it's also OK to stuff your kitchen with all available electronic goodies from China and for sure Epihones are OK too. Everything is fine as long as the brand is well known even to Dumbie Potthead no matter where it's built. But... YOU HAVE TO AVOID TEMU AND ALI EXPRESS! THOSE ARE FROM HELL!
Nobody is buying a Temu guitar for the 'worth' of it as if it's going to have resale value. And if it sounds like every other humbucker guitar and is comfortable with a setup, then it objectively provides the same 'worth' as any other guitar as a functional tool.

I always take the poker chip off anyway. I know how to operate a three-position switch, and I think the chips look goofy. I'm not a fan of the snot yellow plastic. I'm not sure the pupswap was an improvement.
This isnt a bad lookin guitar at all, especially if its cheap. Would be a great learning tool for fretwork/electrics and general setup for anyone. Nice job sir

If I hadn't heard so many Les Pauls in the hands of true masters, and watching your show so long, it wouldn't sound terrible but it sounds a little cheap. That said, for the price, whatever that is, not a bad beginner guitar. Ok... I don't think the mods made a huge difference but ok...
HELP! IVE SEEN A TEMU! PLEASE DONT TELL MY MOM OR STEAL MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!! /s Most disappointing Trogly video since he killed that dudes online store a few years ago. Some TH-camrs buy cheap guitars and make them cooler and more functional in a tasteful, satisfying way, then donate them. Trogly buys one and makes the abomination WORSE, then plays an E chord with distortion. He probably threw it away. Sigh. I guess I’m happy he finally found the perfect instrument for his skill level, but sad he couldn’t appreciate it for what it was. Guess you really can’t buy taste or talent.
Some of the cheap tools are serviceable; screwdrivers, string winders, basic setup tools, etc. Id recommend staying away from anything that's meant for permanent repairs like saws, chisels, files, etc. Fretting tools are an area to be wary of: fret pullers, files, crowning tools, etc. 95% of the really inexpensive tools are all cast from shit pot-metals that are too soft to do the job. Even with the steel tools; most, if not all are low grade, un-hardened steel. With a soft file, a job that should take a minute can go on and on, if it can be finished at all. You'll start at the last fret and work your way up the neck and the nickel frets will be too hard for the file and it'll be completely smooth by the 7th fret. Soft fret pullers will end up slipping from the fret and damage the fretboard around the slot, meaning you'll have to sand the whole fretboard down, turning it into a nightmare. On the flip side, unless you're repairing guitars professionally, you don't need to take a second mortgage out to buy Stew-Mac tools either. Even if you are a professional some of it is ridiculous. I had to shim my Strat. They usually come in a set of three: .25⁰, .50⁰, 1⁰. You can buy maple ones for $8-12 online, or $47 from Stew-Mac. I paid

Nobody is buying a Temu guitar for the 'worth' of it as if it's going to have resale value. And if it sounds like every other humbucker guitar and is comfortable with a setup, then it objectively provides the same 'worth' as any other guitar as a functional tool.

I always take the poker chip off anyway. I know how to operate a three-position switch, and I think the chips look goofy. I'm not a fan of the snot yellow plastic. I'm not sure the pupswap was an improvement.

If I hadn't heard so many Les Pauls in the hands of true masters, and watching your show so long, it wouldn't sound terrible but it sounds a little cheap. That said, for the price, whatever that is, not a bad beginner guitar. Ok... I don't think the mods made a huge difference but ok...

Most disappointing Trogly video since he killed that dudes online store a few years ago. Some TH-camrs buy cheap guitars and make them cooler and more functional in a tasteful, satisfying way, then donate them. Trogly buys one and makes the abomination WORSE, then plays an E chord with distortion. He probably threw it away. Sigh. I guess I’m happy he finally found the perfect instrument for his skill level, but sad he couldn’t appreciate it for what it was. Guess you really can’t buy taste or talent.
Some of the cheap tools are serviceable; screwdrivers, string winders, basic setup tools, etc. Id recommend staying away from anything that's meant for permanent repairs like saws, chisels, files, etc. Fretting tools are an area to be wary of: fret pullers, files, crowning tools, etc.
95% of the really inexpensive tools are all cast from shit pot-metals that are too soft to do the job. Even with the steel tools; most, if not all are low grade, un-hardened steel. With a soft file, a job that should take a minute can go on and on, if it can be finished at all. You'll start at the last fret and work your way up the neck and the nickel frets will be too hard for the file and it'll be completely smooth by the 7th fret. Soft fret pullers will end up slipping from the fret and damage the fretboard around the slot, meaning you'll have to sand the whole fretboard down, turning it into a nightmare.
On the flip side, unless you're repairing guitars professionally, you don't need to take a second mortgage out to buy Stew-Mac tools either. Even if you are a professional some of it is ridiculous. I had to shim my Strat. They usually come in a set of three: .25⁰, .50⁰, 1⁰. You can buy maple ones for $8-12 online, or $47 from Stew-Mac. I paid
