Hi I'm farely new to this maybe you could help me out with these lions that's how I've been getting my information through nice people like yous are there two brother's one other one I want that his jaw was droopy when they came in to the territory there was two of them full Mane gorgeous yeah I just feel bad seeing him like that tough out there if it's them do you know where his brother's at and did someone take over their territory Cecil and his brother forgot his name are those the 2 that took over their territory thanks😊
Cecil died years ago and wasnt from here , I believe the two males who were here in this area before were Ncile and Mandevu but they decided to move to another pride

On rare occasions Lions do eat hyenas, I've seen one sighting or a Leopard eating hyena too. There was a comical sighting of a Coalition trio on a hyena kill but one refused to eat. He looked disgusted as if he'd rather starve due to lack of prey😂

It is scary what happens to Shaka. his intestines are hanging out waiting for any minor accident to fall all the way to the ground I think we will lose him soon, as his injury is much more serious than Ndhzenga Gore's injury I hope that these cases will not be left untreated. At least a little mercy is required

Mbiri Pride their natal pride their fathers the tanda impi males both gone has the tinswalo males grows up they took over there natal pride now they took over the Skorro Pride abandoned by Shaka and Zigzag anyway good to see lions moving around for diversity in gene pool and thanks for this wonderful video....

Since Shaka was caught a few months ago and his brother was also seen with injuries, that they were never seen in top shape anymore. They lost they bulkiness.

Lions rarely eat hyena. Sometime that will lick at their blood for hydration but typically do not like the taste of hyena ... unless they are extremely hungry ... then they will eat some.

From what I've gathered, hyenas are like vultures, they can stomach diseased animals that could/would spread deadly diseases throughout the land. Lions normally will kill them, but not eat them, to avoid consuming whatever diseases the hyena may have come into contact with. Hyenas seem, to me, to be the rats of the savannah. Grubbing on whatever they can get their jaws on. Lions recognize this and, although mortal enemies, will dine on a better prey item. A hyena kill just lessens the competition. Shaka is far, far from being a psychopath. Mean-looking lion? Sure. He's not young and had to overcome plenty adversaries in his life. ZigZag and Shaka are among my fav lions, very respectable guys.
I’ve seen something like this once in another channel but short clip….I also saw another video w/2 lions eating another lion…I guess nothing should be surprising in the wild anymore!

It is very rare that land carnivores will eat each other. Fish and birds will do it, but rarely carnivores on land. Injure or kill? Sure. In some desperate situations, or a particularly vicious character will do it. This male lion looks rough for wear. Some bones visible through the flesh, panting rapidly, walking slowly, tumorous lump on his underside...
That male lion eating a hyena? That's NASTY! That male lion must be starving, because although it has happened before lions eating a hyena, it's definitely not their choice of what they'd prefer to eat. Desperate situation, I guess. Also, that lion must be older? I saw his bottom fang & it looks really yellow & kinda worn so that lion must have some age on him. The Mbiri males are a scruffy & worn-down lot of males. They are the least healthy male lions I've seen, actually. I really hope the situation improves for them, but out of all lions I see, Mbiri males look scrawny & worse for wear. The females & cubs look nice & healthy, though..so that's good @ least.
Bummer for that duckling. Certainly a law of the jungle is, regardless of what you are, eat get as big as you can before something bigger eats you. Seems luck also plays its part. Compelling video.

That is Shaka not zigzag .Zigzag is bigger than him. Lions is not supposed to eat hyneas. They hate them so. But he is a typical. Kinda of lion, Tristan need to learn there names very important.

Worked a job site next to Lake Elsinore in socal and ever morning in a large field I would watch a grey heron catch and eat fat gophers.
The lion doesn't look well. He may be sick from eating the hyena.

Dominance. They typically don't eat hyena. They'll eat part of them and leave the rest as a warning to others. They aren't very tasty😂
