I Came back to this Ayah, after contemplating Ayah 86 . Touched and humbled , I dont think I will ever feel the same again (good or bad) unless Allah has other plans. BENEFITS OF ISTIGHFAR ►Istighfar removes anxiety and Du'as are answered. ►Istighfar opens the door of sustenance. ►Istighfar opens the door of mercy. ►Istighfar opens the door of knowledge. ►Istighfar is also gateway of productivity ! ►Istighfar relieves you when you feel that sadness within you, when you are disturbed and frustrated, and also when anxiety surrounds you. Always say Astaghfirullah Astaghfirullah… ~~Don’t leave Istighfar A man once came to al-Hasan al-Basri and complained to him: “The sky does not shower us with rain.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness (i.e. say أستغفر ألله).” Then another person came to him and said, “I complain of poverty.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.” Then another person came to him and complained, “My wife is barren; she cannot bear children.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.” The people who were present, said to al-Hasan: “Everytime a person came to you complaining, you instructed them to seek Allah’s forgiveness?” Al-Hasan al-Basri said, “Have you not read the statement of Allah? ‘I said “ Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12] There are two things in the earth that give a person safety and security from the punishment of Allah. The first has been removed, whilst the second still remains. As for the first, it was the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). “Allah would not punish them while you were among them.” [al-Anfal (8):33] As for the second, it is istighfar. “Allah would not punish them as long as they sought forgiveness.” [al-Anfal (8):33] أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… Do not ever leave istighfar! Please share and remember that you will receive the reward for all those who make istighfar, due to your reminder. Astaghfirullaaha wa ‘atoobu ‘ilayhi. I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him. (Recite one hundred times during the day) It was reported in Saheeh Muslim that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said: “I seek forgiveness one hundred times in a day.” [Muslim] Du'a for seeking forgiveness: Dua of Prophet Adam (A.S.) Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfirlana watar hamna lana koonanna minal khasireen [7:23] ”Our Lord ! we have sinned against ourselves and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost." رَبَّنا ظَلَمنا أَنفُسَنا وَإِن لَم تَغفِر لَنا وَتَرحَمنا لَنَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ [SURAH AL-A`RAF, VERSE 23] Du'a of Yunus (A.S) repenting to Allah in the belly of the whale: “ LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNY KUNTU MINATHAULIMEEN” [21:87] “There is none worthy of worship except You. You are pure. Verily I am amongst the oppressors.” [Al-‘Anbya’ 87] Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said about the Invocation of Yunus “None who is experiencing difficulty employs it except that Allah would relieve him of his difficulty.” [At-Tirmidhi] Nooh (A.S) asked for the forgiveness of Allaah The Almighty, repenting by saying: Rabbi Inneee A-o’od’u Bika An As-alaka Maa Laysa Lee Bihee I’lm Wa Illaa Taghfirlee Wa Tarh’amneee Akum Minal Khaasireen [11:47] “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.” (Surat Hūd, 11: 47) We must recite this dua’a to have full faith in the wisdom of Allah under all good and bad circumstances because Allah is all-knowing; and humbly seek His help to keep ourselves on the right path. Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni. (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me). Say: Astaghfirullah al-ladhi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu ilayhi It says in hadith, whoever says it seven times his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield. Say: SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi Whoever says it hundred times, his sins will be forgiven even though they may be as much as the foam of the sea. Say: la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah lahul mulku wa lahaul hamdu wa huwa a la kuli shay’in qadeer. And say the many other forms of repentance that are prescribed by Allah. ALLAH HAS FULL ABILITY TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT! AND ONLY HE (ALLAH) HAS THAT ABILITY. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication). He becomes shy to return them empty.” [Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi] ******

Summary(Important Points) S. Yusuf, 87: What Needed To Be Said يَٰبَنِىَّ ٱذْهَبُوا۟ فَتَحَسَّسُوا۟ مِن يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَا۟يْـَٔسُوا۟ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يَا۟يْـَٔسُ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ O my sons, go and find out about Joseph and his brother and despair not of relief from Allah . Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people." Surah 12, Ayah 87. 1. First of all, understand that this may not necessarily happen right after the last conversation. It can be a day or some hours later. 2. The opening "O my sons" is an add-on. It is supposed to make the hearts of the sons softer. 3. Just because people are becoming unprincipled doesn't mean you should too. Stick to your principles, do your duties as a family member and still put a healthy boundary. This applies even if the abuser has grown up and can take care of themselves, you still have some duties towards them. 4. The word "TAHASSASU" comes from "HISS" which means "sensitivity" or "the senses". So it means "To seek something using senses(smell, seeing, etc)". A word that comes close to this word is "TAJASSASU" which comes from "JASS". "TAJASSUS" is "To spy on somebody" and "TAHASSUS" is "To seek somebody", these two words are very close in meaning. The only difference is that "TAJASSUS" is "To seek someone secretly" and "TAHASSUS" is "To seek someone openly". 5. Yaqub(AS) has been observing these brothers over many years now. When the brothers shouted at him(AS), he(AS) knew it was actually the guilty conscious coming again. All this time, the brothers pretended that Yaqub(AS) believed in their false story but that was not true. By telling them to look for Yusuf(AS), he(AS) is making them realize that he(AS) didn't believe their story. 6. Sometimes, people have done bad things and then they can't talk about it. So, to not talk about it, they use a defense mechanism. The defense mechanism is that they put up a tough attitude and get angry at anyone who tries to talk to them about it. But if you stand firm and don't budge from the topic, you will actually see their attitude become more and more soft and you might actually find a vulnerable person underneath. 7. The word "sensitivity" has a dual meaning, it can be internal and external. Internally, it can mean "find sensitivity in yourselves towards Yusuf(AS)" and externally, it can mean "find Yusuf(AS) using your sensitivity or senses." 8. The next phrase "and despair not of relief from Allah" means "have hope in Allah for getting Bin Yameen back". In other words, Yaqub(AS) is telling the brothers not to lose hope in Allah in the sense that He can change the situations, He can do miracles. 9. Then, the last sentence "Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people.". Here, Yaqub(AS) says that because he(AS) knows they have hope, he(AS) knows they have a little bit of faith in them. 10. People get rid of things that make them feel guilty because they don't want to feel guilty. Some people run away from Islam because every time they are in Islamic environments, they feel guilty. 11. But sometimes, this environment becomes internal, even if no one is shaming them, they are making themselves guilty. That is what Shaitan does to them, he makes them feel guilty. And when that happens, they lose hope in Allah because they don't want to deal with their bad deeds. 12. The word "RAUH" is "Breath/Sigh of relief" is connected to "REEH"(Wind) and "ROOH"(Spirit of human being) which was breathed inside us. It is also a close synonym of "NAFAS"(Breath) from which comes "NAFS"(Spirit of human being) just like "ROOH"(Spirit of human being). 13. In Ayah 84, Allah described the sadness of Yaqub(AS) as "KAZEEM"(Swallowing his emotions). On this Ayah, Ibn Qutaybah said,``''KAZEEM” is someone who is having a hard time breathing a sigh of relief because their air passageways are being blocked or their chest has a lot of tightness." 14. The irony is that he(AS) hasn't got a sigh of relief for years and he(AS) is telling the brothers to have hope in Allah for a sigh of relief. 15. Another irony is that Allah told us Yaqub(AS) became blind in the previous Ayah, yet is this Ayah we see that the only person who is seeing the truth in that room is Yaqub(AS). So, you can be blind with the eyes of the body and you can still see the truth and your eyes can be functioning perfectly and you may still not see the truth. 16. Sometimes, we need to confront people and they may explode on you but you still got to do it. 17. Confrontations can be done lovingly, it doesn't have to be aggressive. 18. The way you carry yourself should not affect the way they carry themselves. 19. What needs to be said should be said and it can be said without losing your principles. 20. What arguments and yelling cannot break, a few loving words can break. 21. We think sadness and hopelessness come with each other. Yaqub(AS) took his(AS)'s deepest sadness and gave it to Allah and Allah took that and put so much hope in his(AS)'s heart that he(AS) can find hope in the people around him(AS). 22. In this Ayah, we see that hope and "IMAN"(faith) are connected with each other. Disbelievers can be negative as they have no connection to Allah but believers should not be negative, we know we can redeem ourselves. 23. The word "KAFIROON" comes only twice in this Surah, this is the second time, the first time was when Yusuf(AS) was in the prison and he(AS) is thanking Allah that he(AS) is not from the "KAFIROON". Here, Yaqub(AS) is telling thank Allah that he(AS) has hope and that he(AS) is not from the "KAFIROON". 24. Yusuf(AS) in his(AS)'s darkest moments gives hope to the cellmates who have a criminal record. Yaqub(AS) in his(AS)'s darkest moments gives hope to the brothers who have a criminal record. 25. Yaqub(AS) knew that the dream which Yusuf(AS) got was a revelation so it may be that he(AS) is sensing that the dream is falling into place and that Yusuf(AS) is somehow connected to the disappearance of Bin Yameen. So it may be that Yaqub(AS) got his(AS)'s unusual optimism from this knowledge. This ends the summary. Brother Nouman, I think that even though Yusuf pbuh and Yaaqob pbuh were mostly apart throughout the story but the spiritual connection that they share with Allah is so strong that through Allah they're still connected to each other that's why they echo each other throughout the story! What if your own parents caused suffering and negativity in your life leading to all the siblings bullying and tormenting you? My mother always says, "He who has no one has Allah." Allah is the best companion one could ask for. Until such time as Allah brings the right human companionship into your life, lean onto Allah and cry your heart out to Him. He is As Sami and Al Aleem. The All-Hearing and the All-Knowing. He hears what you say in duas and knows what you're unable to say but what exists in your heart. What's more, in sha Allah, one day you will find the warmth of human companionship, but always remember to unload your burdens by leaning onto Allah. People may come and go but He is that constant that remains forever so in sha Allah we should seek comfort in Him. Allah is sufficient for us. Hand over your problems to Allah and make dua for ease and for solutions, Allah will ease your burdens, brother, in sha Allah. It's all temporary and Allah will soon give you the relief after hardship. He makes ways where we don't see one. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. :)
I've seen your comment on the previous video from this, i too am suffering from pain due to my parents. Predominantly my father. I, Alhamdulilah a good kid just wanting love and affection from my parents however, but my father blamed me for his actions and for small things. He was a bully of my life and i do not know why.

also can i share my thoughts (conclusions) i think allah is telling us that even if u did some really messed up things like yusuf's brothers allah can still forgive them the door of "tauba" is still open. and also i think they were shouting at their father whenever he mentions yusuf bcz they felt bad about it they don't even wants to remember what they did to him. it still hunts their conscience. imagine this with me... i have a close relative that died like 10 years ago although i loved them a lot however now i rarely remember them. however if u did something bad to someone ur conscience wouldn't let it go. i think when they mentioned him when they said "if he stole he had a brother that have the habit of stealing too" that shows that even that years had passed by they still think about him

need some guidance please! My wife knows our financial situation and due to the covid19 it has gotten a bit worse. Last 2 months have been hard.. She fights with me and she is the type of a woman who when fights with you she loses her morality and this time like many other she taunted me by saying ‘’What have you ever done for your kids’’ mind you the fight started just because I expressed my desire to see her fit and asked her when she will start working out. No offense to a woman but this thing was twisted, turned and made in to something it wasn’t even remotely about. To clear that fact Since my 2 daughters have been born they have never slept hungry, always had cloths to wear a roof over their head and a father to comfort them. If they were ever sick what ever they needed even at time where I was short on money I gave up my ego my self respect even my values and asked for money when once it came to it.. so its not like I have not taken care of my kids. She fights with me taunts me and calls her family, I tell her if you want to go you can but let the oldest one stay with me because I don't want to be alone. But she and her family forcefully against my wishes took my children. She left me home alone with nothing to eat not an ounce of remorse or worry that what is he going to do. Fought,took the kids and said leaving the house because I need a break. But yet took all her things even kids passport which I later realized and I understood what her plan was. A week in to it Later she stopped me from meeting the kids,disrespected my mother and father disrespected me. And then 4 days later she messages me the same man who she taunted while leaving the house that ‘’what have you ever done for your kids’’ to provide diapers and milk. I said… Please come back home as I have always been providing for my kids and you everything you need is at home. EVERYTHING>…but she in her ego never listens. I was and still am very angry to what she and her family did and said… they came in to my house took my kids against my will. She fights and leaves me… I told here after all that you have done and said.. now the people who took my kids against my will from my house are going to take care of ur needs… because what you have done is and said is wrong. She has in the past been disobedient towards me and my mother father. She has said some unforgiving things .. but through it all I have always forgiven her.. she threatened to once take my kids away from before and I told her at the end of it all that I forgive you now but if you ever try that again. I wont. Am I doing this wrong? What am I do do with a woman who is disobedient and doesn’t care about anything except herself. Again politely I requested,please come home as I have been providing for my kids I always will and everything need is at home so come home but if you don’t means you havnt realized that what you have done is wrong and thus the people who took my kids away from me forcefully and who u left with are going to look after you now. Am I wrong in doing this? I went t0 see my kids yesterday and she kicked me out of the house snatched my kids away from my lap and disrespected me, shouted at me infront of the whole neighbor hood.. you wouldnt believe the dirty things she said.. basically she stripped of her dignity in the middle of the road while she thought she was taunting me. All this her family just stood there and did nothing.
I hope things get easier for you. Try getting advice from someone who’s neutral on both sides. Also pray to Allah for guidance. I hope things work out in the best way In Shaa Allah.

A couple of questions/ thoughts on this Aya Is there root word connection between روح in this Aya and رویه in Aya 5 the first dream.??? I am thinking perhaps Yaqoob AS who actually interpreted Yusufs dream sees or woken up to that fact by his sons show of guilt in their previous statement. And seeing glimmer of hope in them he is seeing that this perhaps is an indication of Yusufs dream being fulfilled. The only way his brothers would bow than to Yusuf knowingly would be if they regret and repent what they have done. And rouh of Allah if there is any connection to the Ilham from Allah or ru’ya could possibly mean Yaqoob AS statement has a duality in that he is saying he has not given hope in the fulfilment of that dream which was an ilham from Allah as will as making a generic statement that he has hope in Allah anyway. His sons may even take this as a dual meaning as well that perhaps there father being a prophet has actually received revelation from Allah that Yusuf is alive and/or what the brothers had done to him and the revelation happened just now not knowing about the dream. Allahu Alam! Oh well I wrote this thought before listening to the last 30 seconds which validates my point to a degree. If the sons sat down told him the entire story perhaps including the bit that is the bible about Yusuf breaking bread with them and not other Egyptians and them being treated really well and Benjamin taken away in a private conversation with Yusuf and then Yusufs cup ( specifically coming out of his bag) and Yusufs reference to Allah in his statements, it shouldn’t take too much for a very wise prophet like Yaqoob AS to put two and two together. Here’s an non- Egyptian highly Authoritative highly just, very pious (a believing man) taking lots of interest in these brothers especially calling the youngest one and then detaining. There’s too much coincidence. The really curious thing is that Yaqoob AS is saying in this Aya with confidence go and look after just experienced devastation and lost his sight. So I would say this instruction doesn’t come straight after that episode it happens in a while when he has composed himself and the thing with loss of sight is that it triggers heightening of other senses and perhaps the sixt sense if there’s such a thing. With his other senses increased he started putting things together and especially if the sons actually said every detail of their encounter with Yusuf, I think with kind of dad he is and how much he knows about Yusuf he would guessed that the Aziz they have encountered in Egypt is in fact Yusuf and he can almost SEE how his dream is going to be fulfilled!!!!!

I don’t agree, Allah swt knows but I think it wasn’t yaqub as finally feeling he can talk to them now..esp with how the conversation went down it doesn’t look like they have remorse.. it looks as if there’re still the same and that’s why our prophet had turn away from them! I think of all the times to bring up yosuf as why now esp when there will eventually actually be a reunion and they actually do finally recognize him, is that yaqub as knew wether he received word from Allah swt or for other reasons he know and its the reason why of all these years he actually told them to look out for yosuf as it’s odd right! I believe he knew there would some kind of reuniting...also the reason the sons told the truth is not for feeling guilty or they want to be honest (they recently accused yosuf as of being a thief!) that doesn’t show regret esp that fast.. I think they only told the truth since they want to basically say look it wasn’t our fault this time!! A liar can tell a truth when it benefits them or gets them out of trouble- they had no reason to lie but to say hey it wasn’t us this time indirectly... even then they still were in their evil selves saying your son stole! Allah swt knows best but I feel our prophet knew of a union- and even though their sons continue to act ummm stupid! He needed to convey this message to them, just like the last time when he told them to go from seperate entrances- he had to let them know, there was a union that was about to come or hint of the fact that it’s time to tell them keep an eye out for your brother yosuf! Of all the times I feel even if they felt guilty for whatever reason it still doesn’t make sense to say look out for yosuf as and esp when they need to get their other brother first and why look for him back in Egypt? Why would our prophet say look for him there and now it’s time to look for your brother since I see regret?? No

this is awesome. There was someone who I was friends with for ten years and he never confronted me on anything, he just bottled it up inside until one day he closed the door on me forever. ►Istighfar removes anxiety and Du'as are answered.

A man once came to
al-Hasan al-Basri and complained to him: “The sky does not shower us with rain.”
He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness (i.e. say أستغفر ألله).”
Then another person came to him and said, “I complain of poverty.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
Then another person came to him and complained, “My wife is barren; she cannot bear children.” He replied:
“Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
The people who were present, said to al-Hasan: “Everytime a person came to you complaining, you instructed them to seek Allah’s forgiveness?”
Al-Hasan al-Basri said, “Have you not read the statement of Allah? ‘I said “
Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12]
There are two things in the earth that give a person safety and security from the punishment of Allah.
The first has been removed, whilst the second still remains.
As for the first, it was the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). “Allah would not punish them while you were among them.” [al-Anfal (8):33]
As for the second, it is istighfar. “Allah would not punish them as long as they sought forgiveness.” [al-Anfal (8):33] أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله…
Do not ever leave istighfar!

I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him.

It was reported in Saheeh Muslim that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said: “I seek forgiveness one hundred times in a day.” [Muslim]
Du'a for seeking forgiveness:
Dua of Prophet Adam (A.S.)
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfirlana watar hamna lana koonanna minal khasireen [7:23]
”Our Lord ! we have sinned against ourselves and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost."
رَبَّنا ظَلَمنا أَنفُسَنا وَإِن لَم تَغفِر لَنا وَتَرحَمنا لَنَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ
[SURAH AL-A`RAF, VERSE 23]
Du'a of Yunus (A.S) repenting to Allah in the belly of the whale:
“
LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNY KUNTU MINATHAULIMEEN” [21:87]
“There is none worthy of worship except You. You are pure. Verily I am amongst the oppressors.” [Al-‘Anbya’ 87]
Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said about the Invocation of Yunus “None who is experiencing difficulty employs it except that Allah would relieve him of his difficulty.” [At-Tirmidhi]
Nooh (A.S) asked for the forgiveness of Allaah The Almighty, repenting by saying:
Rabbi Inneee A-o’od’u Bika An As-alaka Maa Laysa Lee Bihee I’lm Wa Illaa Taghfirlee Wa Tarh’amneee Akum Minal Khaasireen [11:47]
“My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.” (Surat Hūd, 11: 47)
We must recite this dua’a to have full faith in the wisdom of Allah under all good and bad circumstances because Allah is all-knowing; and humbly seek His help to keep ourselves on the right path.
Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni.
(O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).
Say: Astaghfirullah al-ladhi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu ilayhi
It says in hadith, whoever says it seven times his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield.
Say: SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi

Summary(Important Points)
S. Yusuf, 87: What Needed To Be Said
يَٰبَنِىَّ ٱذْهَبُوا۟ فَتَحَسَّسُوا۟ مِن يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَا۟يْـَٔسُوا۟ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يَا۟يْـَٔسُ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
O my sons, go and find out about Joseph and his brother and despair not of relief from Allah . Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people." Surah 12, Ayah 87.
1. First of all, understand that this may not necessarily happen right after the last conversation. It can be a day or some hours later.
2. The opening "O my sons" is an add-on. It is supposed to make the hearts of the sons softer.
3. Just because people are becoming unprincipled doesn't mean you should too. Stick to your principles, do your duties as a family member and still put a healthy boundary. This applies even if the abuser has grown up and can take care of themselves, you still have some duties towards them.
4. The word "TAHASSASU" comes from "HISS" which means "sensitivity" or "the senses". So it means "To seek something using senses(smell, seeing, etc)". A word that comes close to this word is "TAJASSASU" which comes from "JASS". "TAJASSUS" is "To spy on somebody" and "TAHASSUS" is "To seek somebody", these two words are very close in meaning. The only difference is that "TAJASSUS" is "To seek someone secretly" and "TAHASSUS" is "To seek someone openly".
5. Yaqub(AS) has been observing these brothers over many years now. When the brothers shouted at him(AS), he(AS) knew it was actually the guilty conscious coming again. All this time, the brothers pretended that Yaqub(AS) believed in their false story but that was not true. By telling them to look for Yusuf(AS), he(AS) is making them realize that he(AS) didn't believe their story.
6. Sometimes, people have done bad things and then they can't talk about it. So, to not talk about it, they use a defense mechanism. The defense mechanism is that they put up a tough attitude and get angry at anyone who tries to talk to them about it. But if you stand firm and don't budge from the topic, you will actually see their attitude become more and more soft and you might actually find a vulnerable person underneath.
7. The word "sensitivity" has a dual meaning, it can be internal and external. Internally, it can mean "find sensitivity in yourselves towards Yusuf(AS)" and externally, it can mean "find Yusuf(AS) using your sensitivity or senses."
8. The next phrase "and despair not of relief from Allah" means "have hope in Allah for getting Bin Yameen back". In other words, Yaqub(AS) is telling the brothers not to lose hope in Allah in the sense that He can change the situations, He can do miracles.
9. Then, the last sentence "Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people.". Here, Yaqub(AS) says that because he(AS) knows they have hope, he(AS) knows they have a little bit of faith in them.
10. People get rid of things that make them feel guilty because they don't want to feel guilty. Some people run away from Islam because every time they are in Islamic environments, they feel guilty.
11. But sometimes, this environment becomes internal, even if no one is shaming them, they are making themselves guilty. That is what Shaitan does to them, he makes them feel guilty. And when that happens, they lose hope in Allah because they don't want to deal with their bad deeds.
12. The word "RAUH" is "Breath/Sigh of relief" is connected to "REEH"(Wind) and "ROOH"(Spirit of human being) which was breathed inside us. It is also a close synonym of "NAFAS"(Breath) from which comes "NAFS"(Spirit of human being) just like "ROOH"(Spirit of human being).
13. In Ayah 84, Allah described the sadness of Yaqub(AS) as "KAZEEM"(Swallowing his emotions). On this Ayah, Ibn Qutaybah said,``''KAZEEM” is someone who is having a hard time breathing a sigh of relief because their air passageways are being blocked or their chest has a lot of tightness."
14. The irony is that he(AS) hasn't got a sigh of relief for years and he(AS) is telling the brothers to have hope in Allah for a sigh of relief.
15. Another irony is that Allah told us Yaqub(AS) became blind in the previous Ayah, yet is this Ayah we see that the only person who is seeing the truth in that room is Yaqub(AS). So, you can be blind with the eyes of the body and you can still see the truth and your eyes can be functioning perfectly and you may still not see the truth.
16. Sometimes, we need to confront people and they may explode on you but you still got to do it.
17. Confrontations can be done lovingly, it doesn't have to be aggressive.
18. The way you carry yourself should not affect the way they carry themselves.
19. What needs to be said should be said and it can be said without losing your principles.
20. What arguments and yelling cannot break, a few loving words can break.
21. We think sadness and hopelessness come with each other. Yaqub(AS) took his(AS)'s deepest sadness and gave it to Allah and Allah took that and put so much hope in his(AS)'s heart that he(AS) can find hope in the people around him(AS).
22. In this Ayah, we see that hope and "IMAN"(faith) are connected with each other. Disbelievers can be negative as they have no connection to Allah but believers should not be negative, we know we can redeem ourselves.
23. The word "KAFIROON" comes only twice in this Surah, this is the second time, the first time was when Yusuf(AS) was in the prison and he(AS) is thanking Allah that he(AS) is not from the "KAFIROON". Here, Yaqub(AS) is telling thank Allah that he(AS) has hope and that he(AS) is not from the "KAFIROON".
24. Yusuf(AS) in his(AS)'s darkest moments gives hope to the cellmates who have a criminal record. Yaqub(AS) in his(AS)'s darkest moments gives hope to the brothers who have a criminal record.
25. Yaqub(AS) knew that the dream which Yusuf(AS) got was a revelation so it may be that he(AS) is sensing that the dream is falling into place and that Yusuf(AS) is somehow connected to the disappearance of Bin Yameen. So it may be that Yaqub(AS) got his(AS)'s unusual optimism from this knowledge.
This ends the summary.

My mother always says, "He who has no one has Allah."
Allah is the best companion one could ask for. Until such time as Allah brings the right human companionship into your life, lean onto Allah and cry your heart out to Him. He is As Sami and Al Aleem. The All-Hearing and the All-Knowing. He hears what you say in duas and knows what you're unable to say but what exists in your heart.
What's more, in sha Allah, one day you will find the warmth of human companionship, but always remember to unload your burdens by leaning onto Allah. People may come and go but He is that constant that remains forever so in sha Allah we should seek comfort in Him.
Allah is sufficient for us. Hand over your problems to Allah and make dua for ease and for solutions, Allah will ease your burdens, brother, in sha Allah. It's all temporary and Allah will soon give you the relief after hardship. He makes ways where we don't see one. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. :)
Just like Allah swt had a plan for Yusuf (AS), Allah has a plan for you too inshallah.

I, Alhamdulilah a good kid just wanting love and affection from my parents however, but my father blamed me for his actions and for small things. He was a bully of my life and i do not know why.

and also i think they were shouting at their father whenever he mentions yusuf bcz they felt bad about it they don't even wants to remember what they did to him. it still hunts their conscience.
imagine this with me... i have a close relative that died like 10 years ago although i loved them a lot however now i rarely remember them. however if u did something bad to someone ur conscience wouldn't let it go. i think when they mentioned him when they said "if he stole he had a brother that have the habit of stealing too" that shows that even that years had passed by they still think about him

need some guidance please!
My wife knows our financial situation and due to the covid19 it has gotten a bit worse. Last 2 months have been hard.. She fights with me and she is the type of a woman who when fights with you she loses her morality and this time like many other she taunted me by saying ‘’What have you ever done for your kids’’ mind you the fight started just because I expressed my desire to see her fit and asked her when she will start working out. No offense to a woman but this thing was twisted, turned and made in to something it wasn’t even remotely about. To clear that fact Since my 2 daughters have been born they have never slept hungry, always had cloths to wear a roof over their head and a father to comfort them. If they were ever sick what ever they needed even at time where I was short on money I gave up my ego my self respect even my values and asked for money when once it came to it.. so its not like I have not taken care of my kids. She fights with me taunts me and calls her family, I tell her if you want to go you can but let the oldest one stay with me because I don't want to be alone. But she and her family forcefully against my wishes took my children. She left me home alone with nothing to eat not an ounce of remorse or worry that what is he going to do. Fought,took the kids and said leaving the house because I need a break. But yet took all her things even kids passport which I later realized and I understood what her plan was. A week in to it Later she stopped me from meeting the kids,disrespected my mother and father disrespected me. And then 4 days later she messages me the same man who she taunted while leaving the house that ‘’what have you ever done for your kids’’ to provide diapers and milk. I said… Please come back home as I have always been providing for my kids and you everything you need is at home. EVERYTHING>…but she in her ego never listens. I was and still am very angry to what she and her family did and said… they came in to my house took my kids against my will. She fights and leaves me… I told here after all that you have done and said.. now the people who took my kids against my will from my house are going to take care of ur needs… because what you have done is and said is wrong. She has in the past been disobedient towards me and my mother father. She has said some unforgiving things .. but through it all I have always forgiven her.. she threatened to once take my kids away from before and I told her at the end of it all that I forgive you now but if you ever try that again. I wont. Am I doing this wrong? What am I do do with a woman who is disobedient and doesn’t care about anything except herself. Again politely I requested,please come home as I have been providing for my kids I always will and everything need is at home so come home but if you don’t means you havnt realized that what you have done is wrong and thus the people who took my kids away from me forcefully and who u left with are going to look after you now. Am I wrong in doing this?
I went t0 see my kids yesterday and she kicked me out of the house snatched my kids away from my lap and disrespected me, shouted at me infront of the whole neighbor hood.. you wouldnt believe the dirty things she said.. basically she stripped of her dignity in the middle of the road while she thought she was taunting me. All this her family just stood there and did nothing.
I hope things get easier for you. Try getting advice from someone who’s neutral on both sides. Also pray to Allah for guidance. I hope things work out in the best way In Shaa Allah.
I am 33 years old. Until today, I lead my life as a single. My creator create me as a human, so sometime i am in helpless and near harddline situation.

A couple of questions/ thoughts on this Aya
Is there root word connection between روح in this Aya and رویه in Aya 5 the first dream.??? I am thinking perhaps Yaqoob AS who actually interpreted Yusufs dream sees or woken up to that fact by his sons show of guilt in their previous statement. And seeing glimmer of hope in them he is seeing that this perhaps is an indication of Yusufs dream being fulfilled. The only way his brothers would bow than to Yusuf knowingly would be if they regret and repent what they have done. And rouh of Allah if there is any connection to the Ilham from Allah or ru’ya could possibly mean Yaqoob AS statement has a duality in that he is saying he has not given hope in the fulfilment of that dream which was an ilham from Allah as will as making a generic statement that he has hope in Allah anyway. His sons may even take this as a dual meaning as well that perhaps there father being a prophet has actually received revelation from Allah that Yusuf is alive and/or what the brothers had done to him and the revelation happened just now not knowing about the dream. Allahu Alam! Oh well I wrote this thought before listening to the last 30 seconds which validates my point to a degree. If the sons sat down told him the entire story perhaps including the bit that is the bible about Yusuf breaking bread with them and not other Egyptians and them being treated really well and Benjamin taken away in a private conversation with Yusuf and then Yusufs cup ( specifically coming out of his bag) and Yusufs reference to Allah in his statements, it shouldn’t take too much for a very wise prophet like Yaqoob AS to put two and two together. Here’s an non- Egyptian highly Authoritative highly just, very pious (a believing man) taking lots of interest in these brothers especially calling the youngest one and then detaining. There’s too much coincidence. The really curious thing is that Yaqoob AS is saying in this Aya with confidence go and look after just experienced devastation and lost his sight. So I would say this instruction doesn’t come straight after that episode it happens in a while when he has composed himself and the thing with loss of sight is that it triggers heightening of other senses and perhaps the sixt sense if there’s such a thing. With his other senses increased he started putting things together and especially if the sons actually said every detail of their encounter with Yusuf, I think with kind of dad he is and how much he knows about Yusuf he would guessed that the Aziz they have encountered in Egypt is in fact Yusuf and he can almost SEE how his dream is going to be fulfilled!!!!!

I don’t agree, Allah swt knows but I think it wasn’t yaqub as finally feeling he can talk to them now..esp with how the conversation went down it doesn’t look like they have remorse.. it looks as if there’re still the same and that’s why our prophet had turn away from them! I think of all the times to bring up yosuf as why now esp when there will eventually actually be a reunion and they actually do finally recognize him, is that yaqub as knew wether he received word from Allah swt or for other reasons he know and its the reason why of all these years he actually told them to look out for yosuf as it’s odd right! I believe he knew there would some kind of reuniting...also the reason the sons told the truth is not for feeling guilty or they want to be honest (they recently accused yosuf as of being a thief!) that doesn’t show regret esp that fast.. I think they only told the truth since they want to basically say look it wasn’t our fault this time!! A liar can tell a truth when it benefits them or gets them out of trouble- they had no reason to lie but to say hey it wasn’t us this time indirectly... even then they still were in their evil selves saying your son stole! Allah swt knows best but I feel our prophet knew of a union- and even though their sons continue to act ummm stupid! He needed to convey this message to them, just like the last time when he told them to go from seperate entrances- he had to let them know, there was a union that was about to come or hint of the fact that it’s time to tell them keep an eye out for your brother yosuf! Of all the times I feel even if they felt guilty for whatever reason it still doesn’t make sense to say look out for yosuf as and esp when they need to get their other brother first and why look for him back in Egypt? Why would our prophet say look for him there and now it’s time to look for your brother since I see regret?? No
