    Good question! I’ve used both the rice button for 18 min and the bean/lentils button 30min both work great! Thank you for watching!

    They really look good. But I don't think I would use the metal bladed mixer in my power pot, the inner pot is Teflon coated after all. Looks like you may be feeding an army. What setting for just four or five potatoes?

      Good point you could always pour them in a bowel and then mix. For a smaller portion you could do the bean/lentils button just choose less time under cook time 15min would work great! Thank you for watching!

      Teflon was used by army to coat tanks. I watched a film about it a few weeks ago.

    Great video, but is there a substitue for the Cream Cheese? Other than that sounds great.

    • @lifewithkatiem
      @lifewithkatiem  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching! You can sub in so many things such as plain Greek yogurt, sour cream or shredded cheese, or laughing cow cheese wedges. Would be great to hear what you try and your thoughts!

    Thank you for this video it surprises me so much that when people are cooking they don't pull their hair out of the way cuz I pull my hair up and I still get food with hair in it

    I thought the coating was a non stick. Hows your pot holding up?

    • @lifewithkatiem
      @lifewithkatiem  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sadistical my pot is fine a few scratches though. You could transfer to another bowl to mix to preserve your pressure cooker pot.

      @@lifewithkatiem My stomach at 5:25 tho! I just got one of these and I heard they scratch easy! Thanks for the video. You should totally try making your own stock to add to your potatoes. I add homemade stock to mine and its a real crowd pleaser with my family.
      Thanks for the reply Katie.

    How much rice can you cook in the 8 quart?

    • @lifewithkatiem
      @lifewithkatiem  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! I have never maxed out on rice. However per pressure cooker guidelines for 8 quart they say 5 and 1/4 cup of dry rice. Hope that’s helpful, thanks for watching !

    Does it matter which button to select, since there's no POTATO button?

    • @lifewithkatiem
      @lifewithkatiem  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shoua Yang great question! I’ve also used the bean/lentils button for 30 min. Both are great. Enjoy!
