Pow-lini not Pay-o-lini. But you're right NO ONE would have picked Paolini to be jumping into the upper echelons of the top 10, win a 1000, make a slam final and maybe another one. I like Paolini to beat Vekic honestly. Her movement is just SO much better than Vekic, but Vekic has a sledgehammer of a FH and it is great to see her finally making a Slam semi.

I recall well Carlitos losing against Medi in the US Open, when he thought the day before he knew what to do in the interview. i remember hearing his comments and thinking to myself, "oh oh you are overestimating Medi and way too comfortable boy. you may be in for a surprise". Medi has this amazing capability of figuring players out, he takes the loss as a lesson and gets ready for the next opportunity. with that said, Carlitos does the exact same. He learned his lesson at the US Open coming in a bit too comfortable against Medvedev. Whoever wins it will be a thrill ! Lets go Carlitos!

Seen Kalinskaia match, she retired with a right hand issue. Now this story, half of the video defending Sinner. No negative to Meddvedev, just taking the credit away. Top players, anyone can lose to anyone and you know that. So it's arrogance to think not. But I've seen this in the latest Sinner defeats. He hasn't yet achieved what Daniil achieved. Even though Medvedev lost, the last 5-6 matches were close matches (except Miami). Daniil didn't take away the merit at AO 24, even though he started in ropes the final physically. He is a gentleman. There is plenty to learn from the current no 1 in terms of attitude. Not inspiring. Medvedeev desearves more respect.

Federer struggled to beat Nole on any surface towards the later parts of their careers. I’m a huge Fed fan but saying that Alcaraz would get destroyed by him says you don’t have any tennis IQ. Alcaraz has more power and is a better defender than Fed , and his touch is equally good, the only thing Fed was better at is the serve but Alcaraz serve isn’t bad by any means

Like I said I love Roger, but basing off the fact that a teenage Alcaraz was able to beat inform Nole and inform Rafa in 2022, saying that Alcaraz couldn’t have beaten Federer is ludacris. When Roger was dominating there wasn’t a challenger yet, Rafa was never a great grass player, he was just an amazing athlete and could adapt well. The last time Fed beat Nole at Wimbledon was 2012. At 21? Alcaraz already has major titles on all 3 slam surfaces years younger than Federer did it. 25-30 Federer? He may very well win most matches on grass against a 21 yr. old Alcaraz. But what does that say really? Also, Medvedev has most of the same strengths Djokovic has, just not on the same skill or athleticism level. They are the TRUE no 1s, not someone who made his way up by captilizing on other's misfortunes. If he was truly deserving firstly, he would have been talented and earned his rankings by winning matches, or if he was a decent human being he would have asked to not crown him as no 1 because Novak was injured and would have handed AO trophy to Medvedev because clearly he didn't win it (as we know Meddy was tired, matches should happen between people who are well rested and Meddy would have smoked him as seen in Wimbledon).
