I can't believe how many immature and rude comments on here. It was clearly stated that this is THEIR OPINION. But when they didn't choose the same thing those in the comments would choose, they are called "anti-Stray Kids", "hater", "biased", and "fanboying" and told "the whole world knows who is number one". Time for people to grow up and realize that everyone has their own opinion about what is best, and none are wrong, because being an OPINION, it by definition can't BE wrong. Also, best is a subjective word. If you don't know what that means, look it up.

The fact was there had to be a first and a last sucked- I though every performance was amazing in its own, but we had to rate them….honestly- the highlight of this show was everyone fanboying over each other
But honestly it’s not a competition if there isn’t a first and last, and being last doesn’t mean they’re bad it just means that there where people better then them, but that leaves space to improve and become better then whoever came first, so it’s better to see the good in things instead of pitying them

Ateez were the energy of this show. When their performance came the mood of the show became so energetic. They always lifted up the mood. And they definetly had one of the most impact
And also taking into account they were faithful to their storyline, so much so that their performance of the second round is practically what we will see in their next comeback, in addition to the fact that it seemed to me that they were more innovative with the concepts and genres used for the remakes
@@daliapulla4518 which is sad that it was most likely what brought down their rank. Their approach wasn't necessarily meant for judging, but to show their storyline clearly for Atiny. Have to give them props for sticking to their style. Not a single song of theirs is EVER performed the same twice. I've been with them since KQ Fellaz day and I have not once ever been bored with their performances and am always so surprised by what they come up with. I wish that translated more for the judges. I thought they at least deserved 2nd.

Okay but there’s no doubt that ATEEZ, Stray Kids, and BTOB were a POWERFUL trio. Like they won every single battle when the groups were split up into rap, dance, and vocal. 🔥
I think that they're a great trio too but to be fair the judges were rookies and inexperienced in some/most fields of being an idol so I think their wins were pretty iffy 😭 Like I still think the dance performance was robbed from sf9, the boyz, and ikon.

And even though the judges were mostly rookies, they have far more knowledge and training in dance, rap, & vocals than most of us so please don’t be so dismissive of their choices. And like everyone else, the judges voted based upon personal preference: The judges instructions were literally to vote for the performance THEY LIKED BEST, the instructions didn’t say anything about skill or technique when voting.

@@unknownmystery5373 they did have experts but they also had fellow performers…I am sure the experts voted based upon the actual technique and everything but the fellow performers voted based upon who they felt performed better. To me, it was unfortunate that there were more fellow performers than experts and if there were a more even expert to performer ratio, the scores wouldn’t have been as far apart (except for the vocal performance).
I thought in that round iKon and Ateez were the only groups that fully fulfilled the reborn mission. BTOB was also close-everyone else mostly just did a cover that wasn’t that different from the original.

I could never in my life judge these groups bc they all are so amazing, but also bc I’m a huge Stray Kids and Ateez fan that I would be biased. I do however don’t understand how the judges ranked Stray Kids last for the Re-born category, when they did such a good job on a hard song.
I think it’s because no one understood their concept. The story didn’t come through very clearly and I think they would have scored much higher otherwise 🖤

I would probably agree with most of your opinions but for me, love poem was the definite winner of the vocal round. It gave me goosebumps from the beginning and they conveyed so many emotions through both how gentle and powerful their voices can be. I replay the performance all the time and it never gets old. So yeah, spark was a great performance and I loved how they mixed each of the members’ vocals together but love poem was just out of this world.
I think the saddest thing about this show was how the judges clearly didn’t understand ikon. While I’m not sitting here saying they should’ve won, they definitely deserved more recognition than they got. They had a style that was all they’re own and executed well which made their ever performance stand out to me personally. Also they should just get bonus points for having Bobby cuz lad is just is hype like no one I’ve ever seen.

Kingdom made me Atiny, so glad to find the show... all of the groups are amazing. Every performance is so satisfying to watch. I always find myself to watch Love Poem performance, just epic!!

Plus I know about iKon I was just specifically talking about skz since the whole scandal with hyunjin was unexpected, they practiced as 8 members and when he suddenly couldn't appear they had to rearrange a lot of stuff and still pulled it all off so well. Every group deserves the praise and the love, I'm just proud of them, didn't justify anything.

Just finished Queendom 2 and it lacked the pure adoration everyone had in this show. It’s great to have competition, but the highlight of kingdom was that everyone killed and they thought that everyone else killed

I wanna give my views as a Stay. One where I agree is with the Dance part during Mayfly vs ItsOne. If Its One were gonna win, I would've gladly agreed. That was ART. With the Vocal unit, I think WHY Love Poem actually got all the votes was for the song choice, but they definitely deserved the win because of how they showcased the vocals and they did it absolutely beautifully. U didn't really need much numbers in the vocal unit, and i think Mayfly completely understood it. In the No Limit round, I really think Stray Kids deserved 1st place, not only because it was such a legendary stage, but the composition of the song was SO GOOD. But the way they performed it was the most breathtaking part. It was disappointing to see them not get 1st place, but it's still the most viewed kd performance. For the finals, Ateez did really awesome. They hyped up the crowd and made it seem like a party, not a party. Seriously, ALL OF THE GROUPS did so freaking awesome, and even if they didn't win, I've got to notice new talents which literally allowed me to stan these grps.
Honestly i do not stan either ikon or sf9 BUT to me The STEALER- SF9 and CLASSY SAVAGE-IKON WERE JUST ICONIC. I won't forget these stages so easily! Injusticed kings... they deserved better

Can’t believe it’s been a year since Kingdom already, and since I became a Deobi bc of the O Sole Mio performance!! With these rankings, I agree with some but would change it for others but gotta thank you for doing iKON and SF9 justice and the unit performances for Dance and Vocal :)
The Boyz are my ults and I'm extremely proud of all they accomplished during RTK and Kingdom, but I have to say that I enjoyed every single performance every artist did so I can't even be mad when people rank them lower and put other groups ahead. Every artists that came to both shows are so hardworking and performed great stages.
I think in kingdom IKON was robbed like hell like come one. BTW I agree with ur rankings besides RAP and Vocal but other than these I have the same opinion Yo, I just gotta say this: WHY no one told me that sunwoo is this good-looking?!
ikon deserved better in kingdom their performances were so good, tbh i cant decide between ateez and skz to win, both of them had amazing stage presence and amazing performances, sf9 didn't deserve to get such low rank in most categories, all of the groups did so good i dont understand why they had to add a 1-6 ranking

Coming from 2nd gen kpop here [ BIGBANG & SUJU ] i mostly do not know and have never watched the 4th gen boy groups. ATEEZ performances in Kingdom always stood out for me, though Stray Kids and The Boyz had similar powerful performances, Ateez is completely on a different level. I watched kingdom bec of Ikon and came out as an ATINY after 😊 still thankful to mnet bec i got to know ATEEZ, i heard there were a lot of Atinys born from Kingdom as well.
I think the plan was always to remix it (into a better version) for release on that album. Not sure the plan was for it to be a title track but that remix is fire and the MV a mini movie.
iKON has lost 2 things that made their live performance hella good yet they still slayed. What are the two things? Hanbin's adlibs and the iKONIC chanting (and rapping).
Ateez did such an incredible job during the entire competition💜👏 They were my winners, in my eyes they did the best in every round ! Especially their Wonderland performance, it's a masterpiece🎊❤️
The fact you put Love Poem as a nr2 makes it clear why you didn’t rate any of BTOB’s performance above 5. Personally I loved ALL of their performances. Honestly I feel like they just did their thing throughout the show, came and left as the funny and super talented legends that they are. BTOB’s final song Finale Show and Prove is the most finale-of-a-show song I have ever heard. I saw on twitter that it was even used as a bgm in a footage in the news when talking about South Korean olymipc medalists! 🙌 Back door was the most memorable performance of the whole show for me together with Love Poem. Honestly loved all the groups in Kd! ❤️🙌✨
Well obviously it isn't #1 to the world since many people liked other performances more. The word "best" is a subjective word. What is considered best to one, or one million, could be considered worst to one or one million others. Neither is wrong, because being a subjective concept, best is simply an opinion.

Ateez were first by the jury and self evalution points. But their views and votes by the fans were lower. So their official rank of that round is second place. Stray Kids were second by jury and self evalution, but they got more votes and views so they overtook Ateez and were first in the end :)
@@honeystump no their official rank was 5th after views and votes. Ateez was hurt badly by the budget fiasco and pretty much got boycotted by fans of the other groups. Nobody was voting for them other than Atiny. This was a huge flaw in MNET’s scoring system. The only round where votes helped Ateez was the final round where fans only had 1 vote. MNET basically set Ateez up to be the whipping boy of the fan wars. I loved the stages and idol interactions but MNET was a snake and my heart still breaks that Ateez never got to truly enjoy any of their successes because of the controversies.
How I wish BTOB's other members was there, they were out numbered by other groups but they gave a Great fight. Everyone can't deny their amazing live vocals. The Vocal Kings indeed👑

BTOB, my not be know for their dance skills but what I love about them is how they’re able to create such a captivating performance through more musical-esque techniques that makes them really stand out from a lot of the more dance-focused-performance of the other groups. They know that their vocals are the main focus but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be entertained visually as well as auditorily. It’s sad that people generally don’t appreciate these kind of performances as much but I generally find them more entertaining as they tell a story.
BTOB'S vocals is on the roof. They aren't just singers they are story tellers. They are technically a group that focuses in dancing in their debut years tho' the latter years they more focused on vocals 💙
Oo interesting, my personal rankings are wAY different from yours! For the first few rounds mine were pretty similar to yours (although I'd rank SKZ 1st and ATEEZ 2nd for round 2), but I felt that every unit of Mayfly won definitively, and the Mayfly vocal unit won the whole of round 3 part 1. For round 3 part 2, SKZ's God's Ddu-Du Ddu-Du is hands down my favourite performance in the whole of Kingdom. I thought their mashup was absolutely legendary. Frankly, I was baffled by some of the other groups' performance choices for this round, even though I enjoyed their performances for other rounds. For example, TBZ chose to cover EXO's song completely with only changes to the original rap, when they could have showcased their originality and freshness by mashing it up with one of their own songs, or at least rearranging it with a different vibe to make it their own. BTOB's collab with Miyeon was sweet, even though I was confused, because isn't Miyeon the main vocalist of G-Idle? Yet she didn't sing at all. iKON's collab with Lisa was legendary too, but there was literally no interaction between iKON and Lisa (or even Lisa's set). There were pauses before and after Lisa's rap part, almost like two completely different songs being cut and pasted together without proper transitioning. At least ATEEZ had proper interactions and harmonies with La Poem during their collab. I would've put SF9 in 2nd place solely because they made Taemin's song their own and didn't make me confused with an unnecessary collab. For the final round, I'd rank ATEEZ's The Real first in terms of song (I really like the melody, although I prefer the Heung version), and SKZ's Wolfgang first in terms of performance value (they completely transported me with the song and set). It's a real pity that Hyunjin had to miss out on the Kingdom performances, because SKZ would probably have won every single round if they'd been OT8. I'm just glad they had the chance to show the OT8 version of Kingdom performances at their NOEASY comeback showcase. Last but not least, although our opinions may differ, thank you so much for making this video compilation! I had fun comparing my rankings to yours. Of course everyone's ranking will be slightly different, because we all have different preferences and biases. It's completely natural, and I enjoyed seeing the differences(:
BTOB invited Miyeon in her capacity as an actress, not idol/vocalist. The only reason she was there was to “play the leading lady” in the “La La Land stage” and to help the storyline. They could have invited any actress but probably chose Miyeon because she was available and in the same company.

I can’t speak completely without bias on the rankings because I don’t know some of the groups very well but I gotta say I like your ranking a lot better than kingdom’s. Something about kingdom’s ranking felt really unfair to me at times
Don’t know about the whole show but that was definitely the best of that round. The cover arrangement was also very good-kept that Taemin essence but with SF9 style. That’s how you do a cover.
In the 3rd round Pt. 2, I can’t believe Ateez is the 6th place. That performance is lit, I got goosebumps. Their voices, arrangement of the stage and the song, their dance and the charisma are all fire.
I really agree with all of your ikon rankings I don't understand why they were 6th they did such an amazing job and unlike other groups enjoyed the performance.
The word Mnet_Kingdom boils my blood even today. Each and every performance of iKON stood out because they are truly someone who set fire to stage. The fact that B.I's one moment of weakness landed the boys here, is frankly saddening. It wasn't that iKON is not talented it's just that more than 50% of fandom went on a Koolaid trip of stupidity that's why MNET could insult them the way they did.
To me, the best moment of each rounds are: 1) intro stage - tie between btob sounding incredible and rhythm ta becoming hip hop gentleman 2) to the world: jongho’s ridiculous high note, and yunho with that saber 3) re-born: bobby just having a good ass time, or the half speed but near the end. honorable mention to han killing his high notes, the boyz using tango in the choreo, and changsub looking like a whole snacc 4) rap/hip hop battle: literally making a whole song telling mnet to fuck off 5) dance battle: the total dedication to each characterization of the king. 6) singing battle: mayfly’s three way harmony, but bonus point for ju-ne and new singing together. I wish that inseong’s voice hadn’t cracked for a better comparison, I think it could’ve gone either way. 8) no limit: sf9 and all that hip thrusting…la poem singing ode to joy while jongho harmonizes with them, the blue moon storyline, “we some fuckboys you can’t manage” 9) original songs: the very unique sound of at ease compared to the other finales, the concept of the real (but heung version is exactly what I wished it would be), show and prove actually being use for the olympics (!) after the show, the groups that swapped light sticks - we stan supportive friends here😊 10) random moment: people being impressed over the pirate ship set for wonderland, but them bobby saying “oh wow, he’s wearing a fur jacket”
What I love the most about Kingdom is the higher than elite level that they are performing at. Ive seen many of them in concert and this is harder than that. In concert is amazing but this competition is amazeballs. I love it!!! 4:194:20
Ateez ranked first in jury vote and self evaluation (so the groups themselves picked Ateez as well as whoever the hell was judging). Stray Kids had higher fan vote and views for their official performance on TH-cam and those had a higher percentage to count towards the overall score so Stray Kids pulled forward from 2nd to 1st.

Our tastes are clearly very in line I agreed with nearly everything. I tended to find Straykids, iKon, and Ateez in the top for me each round it seemed. Especially round 2, I feel like iKons Inception got a lot of flak but they really made that song into something COMPLETELY different that was 100% iKon, which is not only difficult to do but was that not a large basis of the challenge??
I think ikon and Ateez were the only two that understood the mission. Both groups took a song unlike their own and made it their own. Inception is one of my all time favorite Ateez songs and I loved what ikon didn’t with it (still prefer the Ateez version but ikon totally made it something ikon would perform). I also loved the Ateez version of Rhythm Ta and I think ikon liked it too based on reactions. Ikon IMO got robbed in that round.
Sorry I can't agree with any of these but I guess it just shows that, even if one person thinks a performance is among the worst, someone else will appreciate it and think it's one of the best so that's good ig. I'd say I agree more with the actual rankings in most cases here
If rtk didnt happen and TheBoyz song like reveal and other concept ideas were hidden i think that would be a trump card to fight more well to all the groups in KLW. Plus knowing that tbz is one of the groups under small company that time thus pretty less budget are given for them. Not that less but cannot be ambiguous. I kinda felt mad also about the lighting that it seemed like coordination to the stage director wasnt prepared enough to see they are not visible. Lastly, theboyz were super tired coming from rtk. They've been so burnt out and i am proud they are able to still show power and pave their presence to all the groups.
Stray Kids are the best. BangChan the Leader writes and produces the songs with a little help on his own. He is an asolute genius. Stray Kids are the best !! No.1 Korean Boy Group....for example Thunderous is a Master Piece.

I came across this and I mostly agree with you! I admit I’m an iKONIC but I truly do think that the rankings were terrible in Kingdom. And I think Stray Kids should have the overall win. But iKON deserved 1st in the ReBorn stage and although Love Poem had powerful voices, Spark was magical with all their different tones.
Still can't believe iKON's Inception stage ranked 5th. It was the best stage. They made the song theirs. Same with At Ease. 😁 I also loved SF9's Move. They deserved first then.

I just hoped that at least they only count the votes of the fans for 25%. Because the other artist are more known than the other, that made the results so unfair. I was shocked when the final ranking of ateez in round 1 is 2nd, I mean no hate to other artist but, we can all agree even the bg groups that were in kingdom that their performance is on another level.
I also think the same, I'm deobi, but that's not why I always rated my favs first; i saw ateez's performance and i was like “wow these guys should be in first place” and i was shocked to see that they didn't, it's not hate but i think stz's was a little bit overrated...
They were second. They ended up in fifth due to fan votes. Their streaming was consistently third every round but nobody other than Atiny were voting for them. They were 5th after the fan votes in round 1, and last after the fan votes in round 2. Last in round 3 (Answer stage). They finished third in the final because there was no longer a “you have to vote for 3 groups” rule. The heavily weighted fan voting system hurt Ateez the most. Thefans blamed them for the budge controversy, then they were boycotted by fan groups (fan groups insisted they weren’t but the math says otherwise). The fan wars were brutal and Ateez suffered a lot (Yeosang was getting death threats the fans were so crazy-San got attacked for being too expressive etc).
THANK YOUUUUUU JUYEON TAEYANG AND DK'S PERFORMANCE SHOULD HAVE WON!!!!! it was immaculate. three members tore up the entire stage bythemselves. even the off studio audience of kpop rookies and such were more shocked by it and it still lost. HOW edit: iKONS final stage is the only one I listen to on repeat whenever I remember it. it's so fucking good
I really feel like kingdom shouldn’t have had any fan voting, it really felt unfair and that the votes ended up being reduced to fan favourites, versus what the verdict originally was from the other systems. It seriously made me want to die a little bit every time and I ended up not finishing it, because though I love skz, I also Stan nearly all of the groups in the show (except tbz but I was introduced to the via the show and I think they’re brilliant too) and it was just disheartening watching some of the groups get low every week ☹️ even if there was just a winner instead of a ranked system would’ve been better cause honestly
I don’t mind fan voting as part of the scoring but it was weighted too heavily. No way should fan voting have been weighted so high that a group that wins a round can fall to last from fan votes alone. I also think the introduction and final rounds should have had an expert evaluation not just fan votes. When the final round came everybody new Stray Kids would win the round even if they had a terrible song-it was king of anti climatic because the only suspense was where everybody else finished. I also think that the expert judging should have been more transparent from the beginning. And I think the self evaluations should have been a ranking with points attached to each rank-eg a first place vote gets 100 points, 2nd 75 etc. If a group gets 4 firsts and two seconds they get 550 points for the round. That I think would avoid those moments where groups got zero votes from the idol groups. My heart aches for them when that happened. Especially since groups were only picking three winners-that doesn’t mean they didn’t like the others.
One reason I loved it when Jongho threw the crown. Message sent that they don’t need that crown. Ateez slayed every stage and it was pretty clear they weren’t going to overcome the fan votes.

Ateez were the energy of this show. When their performance came the mood of the show became so energetic. They always lifted up the mood. And they definetly had one of the most impact
And also taking into account they were faithful to their storyline, so much so that their performance of the second round is practically what we will see in their next comeback, in addition to the fact that it seemed to me that they were more innovative with the concepts and genres used for the remakes

Have to give them props for sticking to their style. Not a single song of theirs is EVER performed the same twice. I've been with them since KQ Fellaz day and I have not once ever been bored with their performances and am always so surprised by what they come up with. I wish that translated more for the judges. I thought they at least deserved 2nd.

I think that they're a great trio too but to be fair the judges were rookies and inexperienced in some/most fields of being an idol so I think their wins were pretty iffy 😭 Like I still think the dance performance was robbed from sf9, the boyz, and ikon.

And even though the judges were mostly rookies, they have far more knowledge and training in dance, rap, & vocals than most of us so please don’t be so dismissive of their choices. And like everyone else, the judges voted based upon personal preference: The judges instructions were literally to vote for the performance THEY LIKED BEST, the instructions didn’t say anything about skill or technique when voting.

@@unknownmystery5373 they did have experts but they also had fellow performers…I am sure the experts voted based upon the actual technique and everything but the fellow performers voted based upon who they felt performed better. To me, it was unfortunate that there were more fellow performers than experts and if there were a more even expert to performer ratio, the scores wouldn’t have been as far apart (except for the vocal performance).

I would probably agree with most of your opinions but for me, love poem was the definite winner of the vocal round. It gave me goosebumps from the beginning and they conveyed so many emotions through both how gentle and powerful their voices can be. I replay the performance all the time and it never gets old. So yeah, spark was a great performance and I loved how they mixed each of the members’ vocals together but love poem was just out of this world.
I think the saddest thing about this show was how the judges clearly didn’t understand ikon. While I’m not sitting here saying they should’ve won, they definitely deserved more recognition than they got. They had a style that was all they’re own and executed well which made their ever performance stand out to me personally. Also they should just get bonus points for having Bobby cuz lad is just is hype like no one I’ve ever seen.

Just finished Queendom 2 and it lacked the pure adoration everyone had in this show. It’s great to have competition, but the highlight of kingdom was that everyone killed and they thought that everyone else killed

I wanna give my views as a Stay. One where I agree is with the Dance part during Mayfly vs ItsOne. If Its One were gonna win, I would've gladly agreed. That was ART.
With the Vocal unit, I think WHY Love Poem actually got all the votes was for the song choice, but they definitely deserved the win because of how they showcased the vocals and they did it absolutely beautifully. U didn't really need much numbers in the vocal unit, and i think Mayfly completely understood it.
In the No Limit round, I really think Stray Kids deserved 1st place, not only because it was such a legendary stage, but the composition of the song was SO GOOD. But the way they performed it was the most breathtaking part. It was disappointing to see them not get 1st place, but it's still the most viewed kd performance.
For the finals, Ateez did really awesome. They hyped up the crowd and made it seem like a party, not a party.
Seriously, ALL OF THE GROUPS did so freaking awesome, and even if they didn't win, I've got to notice new talents which literally allowed me to stan these grps.

The Boyz are my ults and I'm extremely proud of all they accomplished during RTK and Kingdom, but I have to say that I enjoyed every single performance every artist did so I can't even be mad when people rank them lower and put other groups ahead. Every artists that came to both shows are so hardworking and performed great stages.

Coming from 2nd gen kpop here [ BIGBANG & SUJU ] i mostly do not know and have never watched the 4th gen boy groups. ATEEZ performances in Kingdom always stood out for me, though Stray Kids and The Boyz had similar powerful performances, Ateez is completely on a different level. I watched kingdom bec of Ikon and came out as an ATINY after 😊 still thankful to mnet bec i got to know ATEEZ, i heard there were a lot of Atinys born from Kingdom as well.
The fact that even tho Ateez- The real was 3rd, it became so popular, they had to make an MV for it😂🤌
I think the plan was always to remix it (into a better version) for release on that album. Not sure the plan was for it to be a title track but that remix is fire and the MV a mini movie.

Honestly I feel like they just did their thing throughout the show, came and left as the funny and super talented legends that they are. BTOB’s final song Finale Show and Prove is the most finale-of-a-show song I have ever heard. I saw on twitter that it was even used as a bgm in a footage in the news when talking about South Korean olymipc medalists! 🙌

What is considered best to one, or one million, could be considered worst to one or one million others. Neither is wrong, because being a subjective concept, best is simply an opinion.

Ateez were first by the jury and self evalution points. But their views and votes by the fans were lower. So their official rank of that round is second place. Stray Kids were second by jury and self evalution, but they got more votes and views so they overtook Ateez and were first in the end :)

Ateez was hurt badly by the budget fiasco and pretty much got boycotted by fans of the other groups. Nobody was voting for them other than Atiny. This was a huge flaw in MNET’s scoring system. The only round where votes helped Ateez was the final round where fans only had 1 vote. MNET basically set Ateez up to be the whipping boy of the fan wars.
I loved the stages and idol interactions but MNET was a snake and my heart still breaks that Ateez never got to truly enjoy any of their successes because of the controversies.
How I wish BTOB's other members was there, they were out numbered by other groups but they gave a Great fight. Everyone can't deny their amazing live vocals. The Vocal Kings indeed👑

BTOB, my not be know for their dance skills but what I love about them is how they’re able to create such a captivating performance through more musical-esque techniques that makes them really stand out from a lot of the more dance-focused-performance of the other groups. They know that their vocals are the main focus but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be entertained visually as well as auditorily. It’s sad that people generally don’t appreciate these kind of performances as much but I generally find them more entertaining as they tell a story.
BTOB'S vocals is on the roof. They aren't just singers they are story tellers. They are technically a group that focuses in dancing in their debut years tho' the latter years they more focused on vocals 💙

Oo interesting, my personal rankings are wAY different from yours! For the first few rounds mine were pretty similar to yours (although I'd rank SKZ 1st and ATEEZ 2nd for round 2), but I felt that every unit of Mayfly won definitively, and the Mayfly vocal unit won the whole of round 3 part 1.
For round 3 part 2, SKZ's God's Ddu-Du Ddu-Du is hands down my favourite performance in the whole of Kingdom. I thought their mashup was absolutely legendary. Frankly, I was baffled by some of the other groups' performance choices for this round, even though I enjoyed their performances for other rounds. For example, TBZ chose to cover EXO's song completely with only changes to the original rap, when they could have showcased their originality and freshness by mashing it up with one of their own songs, or at least rearranging it with a different vibe to make it their own. BTOB's collab with Miyeon was sweet, even though I was confused, because isn't Miyeon the main vocalist of G-Idle? Yet she didn't sing at all. iKON's collab with Lisa was legendary too, but there was literally no interaction between iKON and Lisa (or even Lisa's set). There were pauses before and after Lisa's rap part, almost like two completely different songs being cut and pasted together without proper transitioning. At least ATEEZ had proper interactions and harmonies with La Poem during their collab. I would've put SF9 in 2nd place solely because they made Taemin's song their own and didn't make me confused with an unnecessary collab.
For the final round, I'd rank ATEEZ's The Real first in terms of song (I really like the melody, although I prefer the Heung version), and SKZ's Wolfgang first in terms of performance value (they completely transported me with the song and set). It's a real pity that Hyunjin had to miss out on the Kingdom performances, because SKZ would probably have won every single round if they'd been OT8. I'm just glad they had the chance to show the OT8 version of Kingdom performances at their NOEASY comeback showcase.
Last but not least, although our opinions may differ, thank you so much for making this video compilation! I had fun comparing my rankings to yours. Of course everyone's ranking will be slightly different, because we all have different preferences and biases. It's completely natural, and I enjoyed seeing the differences(:
BTOB invited Miyeon in her capacity as an actress, not idol/vocalist. The only reason she was there was to “play the leading lady” in the “La La Land stage” and to help the storyline. They could have invited any actress but probably chose Miyeon because she was available and in the same company.

as an ikonic, i wouldn’t call them antis, just maybe,, hard fan of their idols and thats fine. btw cant sees ikonics because most of us are either adults that are busy with work or just lazy af to do anything as this didn’t “literally” harm our boys

I can’t speak completely without bias on the rankings because I don’t know some of the groups very well but I gotta say I like your ranking a lot better than kingdom’s. Something about kingdom’s ranking felt really unfair to me at times

Don’t know about the whole show but that was definitely the best of that round. The cover arrangement was also very good-kept that Taemin essence but with SF9 style. That’s how you do a cover.

In the 3rd round Pt. 2, I can’t believe Ateez is the 6th place. That performance is lit, I got goosebumps. Their voices, arrangement of the stage and the song, their dance and the charisma are all fire.
every group has their own style and storyline and its pretty i personally think ateez wonderland was a masterpiece i got goosebumps watching it

I really agree with all of your ikon rankings I don't understand why they were 6th they did such an amazing job and unlike other groups enjoyed the performance.
I wanted for iKON and Ateez & both did amazing. iKON truly deserved better. All of the performances were amazing.
The word Mnet_Kingdom boils my blood even today. Each and every performance of iKON stood out because they are truly someone who set fire to stage. The fact that B.I's one moment of weakness landed the boys here, is frankly saddening. It wasn't that iKON is not talented it's just that more than 50% of fandom went on a Koolaid trip of stupidity that's why MNET could insult them the way they did.
Thank you for putting iKON much higher than what kingdumb placed them. They didn’t deserve constant bottom ranks.

For the entire show I thought everyone should be getting too three then had to remember there were loosers
To me, the best moment of each rounds are:
1) intro stage - tie between btob sounding incredible and rhythm ta becoming hip hop gentleman
2) to the world: jongho’s ridiculous high note, and yunho with that saber
3) re-born: bobby just having a good ass time, or the half speed but near the end. honorable mention to han killing his high notes, the boyz using tango in the choreo, and changsub looking like a whole snacc
4) rap/hip hop battle: literally making a whole song telling mnet to fuck off
5) dance battle: the total dedication to each characterization of the king.
6) singing battle: mayfly’s three way harmony, but bonus point for ju-ne and new singing together. I wish that inseong’s voice hadn’t cracked for a better comparison, I think it could’ve gone either way.
8) no limit: sf9 and all that hip thrusting…la poem singing ode to joy while jongho harmonizes with them, the blue moon storyline, “we some fuckboys you can’t manage”
9) original songs: the very unique sound of at ease compared to the other finales, the concept of the real (but heung version is exactly what I wished it would be), show and prove actually being use for the olympics (!) after the show, the groups that swapped light sticks - we stan supportive friends here😊
10) random moment: people being impressed over the pirate ship set for wonderland, but them bobby saying “oh wow, he’s wearing a fur jacket”

What I love the most about Kingdom is the higher than elite level that they are performing at. Ive seen many of them in concert and this is harder than that. In concert is amazing but this competition is amazeballs. I love it!!! 4:19 4:20

Ateez ranked first in jury vote and self evaluation (so the groups themselves picked Ateez as well as whoever the hell was judging). Stray Kids had higher fan vote and views for their official performance on TH-cam and those had a higher percentage to count towards the overall score so Stray Kids pulled forward from 2nd to 1st.

Our tastes are clearly very in line I agreed with nearly everything.
I tended to find Straykids, iKon, and Ateez in the top for me each round it seemed.
Especially round 2, I feel like iKons Inception got a lot of flak but they really made that song into something COMPLETELY different that was 100% iKon, which is not only difficult to do but was that not a large basis of the challenge??
I think ikon and Ateez were the only two that understood the mission. Both groups took a song unlike their own and made it their own. Inception is one of my all time favorite Ateez songs and I loved what ikon didn’t with it (still prefer the Ateez version but ikon totally made it something ikon would perform). I also loved the Ateez version of Rhythm Ta and I think ikon liked it too based on reactions.
Ikon IMO got robbed in that round.
Sorry I can't agree with any of these but I guess it just shows that, even if one person thinks a performance is among the worst, someone else will appreciate it and think it's one of the best so that's good ig. I'd say I agree more with the actual rankings in most cases here

If rtk didnt happen and TheBoyz song like reveal and other concept ideas were hidden i think that would be a trump card to fight more well to all the groups in KLW. Plus knowing that tbz is one of the groups under small company that time thus pretty less budget are given for them. Not that less but cannot be ambiguous.
I kinda felt mad also about the lighting that it seemed like coordination to the stage director wasnt prepared enough to see they are not visible.
Lastly, theboyz were super tired coming from rtk. They've been so burnt out and i am proud they are able to still show power and pave their presence to all the groups.

I came across this and I mostly agree with you! I admit I’m an iKONIC but I truly do think that the rankings were terrible in Kingdom. And I think Stray Kids should have the overall win. But iKON deserved 1st in the ReBorn stage and although Love Poem had powerful voices, Spark was magical with all their different tones.
Still can't believe iKON's Inception stage ranked 5th. It was the best stage. They made the song theirs. Same with At Ease. 😁 I also loved SF9's Move. They deserved first then.
Inception was not made for a survival show. It is so good and made for iKon to Perform in their concert. Inception is on fire with live audience 😂

I just hoped that at least they only count the votes of the fans for 25%. Because the other artist are more known than the other, that made the results so unfair. I was shocked when the final ranking of ateez in round 1 is 2nd, I mean no hate to other artist but, we can all agree even the bg groups that were in kingdom that their performance is on another level.
I also think the same, I'm deobi, but that's not why I always rated my favs first; i saw ateez's performance and i was like “wow these guys should be in first place” and i was shocked to see that they didn't, it's not hate but i think stz's was a little bit overrated...
They were second. They ended up in fifth due to fan votes. Their streaming was consistently third every round but nobody other than Atiny were voting for them.
They were 5th after the fan votes in round 1, and last after the fan votes in round 2. Last in round 3 (Answer stage).
They finished third in the final because there was no longer a “you have to vote for 3 groups” rule. The heavily weighted fan voting system hurt Ateez the most. Thefans blamed them for the budge controversy, then they were boycotted by fan groups (fan groups insisted they weren’t but the math says otherwise). The fan wars were brutal and Ateez suffered a lot (Yeosang was getting death threats the fans were so crazy-San got attacked for being too expressive etc).
THANK YOUUUUUU JUYEON TAEYANG AND DK'S PERFORMANCE SHOULD HAVE WON!!!!! it was immaculate. three members tore up the entire stage bythemselves. even the off studio audience of kpop rookies and such were more shocked by it and it still lost. HOW

I can’t take this video seriously when they put Show and prove and Kingdom come at 6 and 5.
I really feel like kingdom shouldn’t have had any fan voting, it really felt unfair and that the votes ended up being reduced to fan favourites, versus what the verdict originally was from the other systems. It seriously made me want to die a little bit every time and I ended up not finishing it, because though I love skz, I also Stan nearly all of the groups in the show (except tbz but I was introduced to the via the show and I think they’re brilliant too) and it was just disheartening watching some of the groups get low every week ☹️ even if there was just a winner instead of a ranked system would’ve been better cause honestly
I don’t mind fan voting as part of the scoring but it was weighted too heavily. No way should fan voting have been weighted so high that a group that wins a round can fall to last from fan votes alone. I also think the introduction and final rounds should have had an expert evaluation not just fan votes. When the final round came everybody new Stray Kids would win the round even if they had a terrible song-it was king of anti climatic because the only suspense was where everybody else finished.
I also think that the expert judging should have been more transparent from the beginning.
And I think the self evaluations should have been a ranking with points attached to each rank-eg a first place vote gets 100 points, 2nd 75 etc. If a group gets 4 firsts and two seconds they get 550 points for the round. That I think would avoid those moments where groups got zero votes from the idol groups. My heart aches for them when that happened. Especially since groups were only picking three winners-that doesn’t mean they didn’t like the others.
