I am a veteran, and everything he said about the American government is true. However; if he thinks his life is safer working with the Russians, he is sadly mistaken. Sure, they are happy with his help at the moment, but that will change when they no longer need him. As demonstrated with the recent case of Russell 'Texas' Bentley, Russia already has a long history of killing off foreigners within their borders, regardless if they work with them in their endeavors... They believe in writing their own history in which only Russians had achieved it in their country. Any trace of foreign help is a threat to that, and a living witness is a liability!
