  • This is the seventh of the Habits of the Planet's Videos that I will be posting. This is the 9th video from my Lajjitaadi Avastha's Master's course. I will be posting all seven of the Habits of the Planet's Videos from that course on youtube. The entire course can be found at astrology-vide... .
Welcome to our TH-cam video where we delve into the fascinating world of Saturn, the often misunderstood planet. In Brihat Parashara, all planets are described with their virtues, and Saturn is no exception. While some may perceive its qualities as negative, such as being dull-minded, lazy, or lame, it's important to understand that these traits have their time and place. A healthy Saturn knows when to conserve energy and adapt to different situations.
Saturn teaches us the value of not wasting our precious energy reserves. Just like any other planet in astrology, it's about doing the right thing at the right time. There are moments when being dull-minded allows us to rest and recuperate; times when being lazy means taking a break from constant activity; and instances when feeling lame reminds us to prioritize self-care.
Join us on this enlightening journey as we explore Saturn's true virtues and shed light on its significance in astrology. Don't miss out on gaining a deeper understanding of this remarkable planet!

With Saturn being a taskmaster I've always thought I had to do more to get on his good graces. This makes total sense, Know when it's time to rest, give up and leave it alone.

Shani’s blessing was to help me see a few months ago that I had to let it go. He aspects my 10th from his place in the lagna. I was beating a dead horse for a long while. Saturn is in Scorpio so takes time to let go!

That would explain why the 12th house is the joy of Saturn. I have a trash Saturn, but it reflects more as me stopping everything before I even start. I guess that is also 'knowing when to stop', because I often stop at the wrong time (without even trying). I also give up too easily. Saturn is very important in my chart as it rules my Cap Sun and the Sun rules my Asc. It also squares my Sun, can't help but laugh... yikes. I have listened to this video a few times and it is incredible. Packed with super-important stuff. When you talk Ernst, I literally feel joy and excitement of a brilliant new perspective.

as a person with saturn rahu conjuct (don't worry, I got saved by exalted Jupiter and exalted sun) I'm always trying to understand this planet by watching hell a lot of videos on it, always get dissatisfied because they all rep same shit, no one talked about saturn with the way you do. you provide some unheard and unique points. thank you. and i saw you in my dreams before even knowing astrology existed when i was 15-16. you were talking about "birth-card" with this same white board setting and at that time, i thought of this dream as some woo-woo shit. but that dream was so vivid. now ofcourse i got to know you better at the age of 18-19 now and this is the best thing that has happened to me so far in 19 years of my life.

Quite insightful. Saturn is energy efficient. However, read from scriptures that good saturn is lord of Yoga and bolsters spirituality in a slow, disciplined and steady manner to self realization . Also a strong good saturn is the highest benefic or yoga karaka for a powerful career/business success in mundane life. Your contrast between Jupiter and Saturn is superb.

‘I’m wasting my time and energy’ have been the words that I’ve been using lately, perhaps coz the Sa transit square my natal Saturn at 14 degr(Aq rising)not really happy where I am with my job. Maby time to let go or perhaps turn to servant style?
Love the video Ernest! So much of an eye opener!
    My take aways:
-You cant let go if haven’t fully experienced Ju
-Are you doing what you good at or what you are not good at?
-Good habit Sa does the things for the sake of doing it
-Saturn allows us to cool down and preserve energy etc.
    Thank you 🙏🏼

When I was hanging out with Saturn he always said “timing is everything” and “we’ll get to it in time” and “one step at a time” and “ Rome wasn’t built in one day”.
But I didn’t develop patience until I met Mercury, because he actually made me want to listen to him before he got to it.
Saturn seemed to just talk about the need for patience to be a bore and irritate me. He was right, but not that charming, to put it mildly.

A lot of this was incredibly helpful. In terms of doing what you are good at, i wonder what happens when Juiter is ruled by Saturn and there is a conflict between the two. Def an instance where it takes more time to create a space to discover what you are good at. For anyone reading this and can relate to not having support for self-discovery of what you are good at, Carl Jung did his best work in his 50s. "DONT STOP" discovering how to fulfill your jupiter!

Hi Ernst. This video helped me figure out why i was okay with letting some things go ever since my awakening began in 2018 and i was initially learning to tune in and cut things off which had served their purpose, and other things i am unable to let go of even now. i cut off my best friend of 28yrs without wasting a day in indecision, my heart told me it was the right decision - because i had experienced the full potential of it. it was never going to be greater than what i had already learned and evolved from it. but the things i find difficult to let go is where i felt i needed to prove myself to feel validated and, because it was saturn, no matter how much effort i'd put into it, it just wouldn't give me the approval and acceptance plus the effort was also not nourishing my soul. it was like i was trying to justify myself and my needs as an individual is valid by getting validation. love was something to be strived for, attained. now i am burned out with this saturn thing and i know it is a matter of time before the Universe tells me "time's up."

How u make me stay listening w/ so many 'pu' in this video ?? 😂
My guru once said u only can pick the diamond after u empty your hand from the stones
My doctor once said for the problem u can't solve tonight, forget it.
It's blessing for those who can stop whenever they want to.
Everytime my daughter ask me something, i'll ask their opinions about it, so I know them better & they also practice how to make their own decisions ...
I shared this w/ her, She said I know when to stop but I don't know when to start again... I said, it's because u think it's wrong to be lazy that's why I share this with u.. After knowing that is OK to be lazy & delayed, hopefully u'll become more relax & everything will start again in their best time 🙏

THANK YOU for this video. This resonated so deeply with me. Probably the best advice ever! And the best explanation of the effects of mysterious planet Saturn that I've come across.

We are sad, because in our bodies on Earth, we are separated from God(partially separated, of course). This thought is a jewel! 💎🙏 Not blaming the outside world for our sadness, too! 👋 Thank god, I have an excellent Saturn, and I quit useless activities easily, as soon as I feel nothing good is going to come out of them. Sometimes people tell me " you should try harder", but I don't listen to anyone, when I know something is over. Thank you so much for clarifying many things, that I always kind of knew, but was not able to put into words. ❤️

My lagna lord and Atmakaraka is Saturn. Sometimes I'm really confused as to what I'm clinging on is shit or good for me. I'm very good at my job, it brings me wealth and status but I hate it, it cause me misery and torment in the mind.

at 19:13 "all experiences end, but not all experiences" for some reason i thought you were going to say not all experiences begin i was like hmm wow so deep, so profound and then you said "not all experiences end the way you want them to" okay yeah that makes sense

I have rx Saturn in Aries in Revati, tip of a yod. I have always struggled with scarcity mentality. Paradoxically, "knowing what I want" provided the point of reference I needed to "get organized".

Doors endings is another possibility. Letting go create space for more things to happen. I love that. Excretion new things coming. Letting go of what’s not supporting us now. Excretion not an end but a new cycle. Future will progress and reconnect. Ending opportunity for doing something new. Ending will be replaced by another experience. I got everything I needed for this situation and it’s time to let it go there’s an inner knowing. Ending trying to continue will slap u in face. Let dead go and continue living. Things leave because there’s no longer necessary for us. Part of us rise to occasion to live without them. Leave because u need experience of something else. Be habit of understanding shocking of life. Death is natural process. Common factor is death. Time to stop no progress need to be made. Wisdom of Saturn time to do nothing. Let go of things not right for us suffering loss that not ready for. Traumatic loss keep status quo even if not great. We haven’t experienced joy or Jupiter enough. Jupiter is our highest level of fulfillment being our best self. Saturn no fulfillment no growth. Saturn not us at all, Jupiter is us. Time come to say it’s over, never experienced Jupiter we are not ready to let go. Satisfying experience has no more attachment ready for Saturn ready to die or done. Never had experience live unfulfilled. Don’t realize of potential when u hold on or clinging on to things that are shit. Renew collect ourselves and get back new way, allows for change. Need break for everything to appreciate and develop things some things u can’t go further. Lesson: I’m taking a break to advance! Wasted energy. Conservancy and not wasting energy. Saturn represent sadness with us. It’s part of us it’s bears our sadness.own or blame Saturn. Only goal is to create experience meaningful and joyful. Saturn gives us time to do that by letting things out of our space. Creative space to work on our best masterpiece free self from things rob our time. Give me the wisdom to know when it’s over or when to stop.

Saturn is teaching us to rest with ourselves. Saturn is nature and death that is part of nature and limitations in life where we very often are out of our control to change. We have to accept nature but it comes thro giving up control as nature is always has a bigger plane for us. Saturn brings this humility that brings rest within.
