This was such a great lesson on Rahu. I feel like there was a lot more that Ernst was wanting to finish but ran out of time. At age 42 when Rahu matures and the concrete events that occur at that time that serves to have Rahu come more intensely in our lives to effectively bring up what is in the subjective reality in order to deal with it healthily. So much to process, this was fantastic. Please bring Ernst back for the second part of this lesson!! Rahu is in the 2nd H , I've had to be independent and rely on me, building my own foundations.....Look to Ketu conjunction with Saturn in Aquarius ( Tropical) and everything and everyone I've relied upon has been taken away from me, not to mention 4 inheritance that never came to me ...... And I'm ok with that. But, if I hadn't of understood Astrology I think I would of being very depressed. That hole Ernst talks about, I used to stuff with cigs, gave up 7 years ago, and food. Not now though. Currently in Rahu dasha. When this dasha first started I met this wealthy US women ( who had Ketu in the 1st H) who was to become a client in my current job.....She was definitely sent to help me. When the One, universal conscjiousness, wants to 'know' itself, it has got to create the illusion of duality. That is the job of Rahu. That's where the Sun (unity) creates the Moon (duality) as a mirror of his own being, Just waves upon the cosmic ocean, remaining one unity but manifesting in two up and down movements of awareness. during Saturn rahu period I went deep into meditation. ...very true ....where as Saturn Jupiter disconnected me from meditation. ..now m working hard on the path of meditation as mercury mahadasha started
This got me thinking about rahu's 5th and 9th aspect. I've understood the 5th house is also the house of wish making so 9th (5th from 5th) is another wish making house). But a trashed rahu will wish (think the worst of these houses subconsciously) and struggle with those signafactors.

I have rahu in 2nd house in Libra in my chart and ketu and jupiter in Aries in 8th house. It's the same theme for me to rely on making and saving my own money. I m not very material and have never been but now forced to do so. Arrrrgh it's tough. Hope life gets better for you.

Was reading about Ketu and then had this urge to come here. ❤
When the One, universal conscjiousness, wants to 'know' itself, it has got to create the illusion of duality. That is the job of Rahu. That's where the Sun (unity) creates the Moon (duality) as a mirror of his own being, Just waves upon the cosmic ocean, remaining one unity but manifesting in two up and down movements of awareness. In order to be really free, we have to 'be in the world (Rahu) but not of this world (Ketu). The nodes just create mirror images of true reality. That's why they always run retrograde. It is up to us to 'switch back our subjective (illusory) awareness into real consciousness, which is the witnessing consciousness of the self. Rahu creates the smoke for those who "can't handle the truth' and let everything go 'up in smoke' for those who can.

That is the 'alien' part of Rahu. we have to play our role on this planet, not identify with it. Persona means mask. Your worldly personality is the mask you wear on this planet. Ketu tries to strip you from all the masks you wear and make you realise who you really are: pure, divine, timeless universal consciousness.

This got me thinking about rahu's 5th and 9th aspect. I've understood the 5th house is also the house of wish making so 9th (5th from 5th) is another wish making house). But a trashed rahu will wish (think the worst of these houses subconsciously) and struggle with those signafactors.
