Siri used to have a bit of whit / sense of humour, I wish they would bring that back. Once I asked for a two minute timer and the response was, “two minute timer set, the suspense is killing me”. 😂. Apple please bring that back.

18.2 public beta released in the UK two days ago. Within the settings, Apple AI was a feature you had to join a waiting list for - I was accepted in about 6 hours.

Working with Todd sounds like a nightmare! I cannot wait for Chst-GPT integration. It looks amazing. Siri 2.0 in iOS 2.0 also looks like it will be worth the wait. I am currently using the proofreading tool. I write up very technical reports in Word. I do not need tools to make my text sound more professional. However, proofreading is very helpful. Most writers are blind to their own typos and may not know grammar perfectly to see everything. This is where the proofreader works perfectly. One must remember to read the final documenting proofreading text has replaced your original text. It will get something wrong, especially with highly technical text. Nevertheless, having used it for about 2 weeks, it has found at least one important error each time. My only time sink using it is comparing original text to final text to identify what was changed and make sure how the change was made does not alter something in another part of the document. Give me something akin to track changes so I may quickly understand what has been changed.
Not a great sick note really. Anybody that is genuinely ill would not be volunteering to handover tasks to colleagues or to make sure their work as up-to-date.

What doesn’t make sense to me is Siri has absolutely downgraded over the years in case no one’s realised. I don’t understand that every other company has come out with AI chat and apple hasn’t done this yet. The only Thing that would make sense is to make Siri an AI chat box which can assist you with everything else on your iPhone. Apple , get your shit together

Apple was forced to demonstrate an AI product that they hadn’t built yet because of all of the fever surrounding AI. It’s going to take quite a bit of time for them to come close to achieving their promises.
