One of the finest pieces of acting ever to grace a screen. Michelle Williams is a genius. Breathtaking.
The best two minutes of acting from anyone this year. She takes my breath away
I cried during this scene. Michelle better take home the Emmy!

This couldn't have been at the end of "Cancan" because she says she's in the middle of a quick change. This must have happened after Verdon's legendary Garden of Eden number.
Every once and a while, something like this happens, and it’s a very significant moment in the theater-I saw the closing performance of the 2011 revival of ‘Follies’ starring Bernadette Peters, and the number ‘Who’s that woman?’ brought the house down; there was a several minute standing ovation, where the women all stepped forward and took a bow. Was pretty magical.
@@boynamedalexxx I only wish you could have seen the original production of "Follies," because the "Mirror, Mirror" number had a raised platform for the young "ghosts" to suddenly appear on. It was stunning.
All I see is pain & despair.
