    Oh man, that opening question made me want to say something to the Dimension 20 cast and crew, which is: FEEL FREE TO SLOW DOWN IF YOU NEED TO! PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES! I LOVE ALL YOUR SEASONS BUT YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO TAKE SOME BREAKS! I PROMISE WE WON'T BE JERKS ABOUT IT!
    IDK, I just hear a lot from everybody involved (from behind-the-scenes videos) about how much panic goes into each season and how quick they have to film and edit it, and how many long weekends and all-nighters they pull, and it's just like. . . we're good! We're fine! I want the next D20 season as much as anyone, but I'm okay to wait for a bit, you know? I genuinely hope they reevaluate that going forward. (I get that there's probably a financial incentive and that D20 is one of the main tentpoles keeping CollegeHumor and Dropout afloat, but you know. Point still stands.)

      Right?! They pointed out that there have been NINE seasons in TWO AND A HALF YEARS. Most tv series would have 2 seasons, maybe 3 at MOST two and a half years in. We get constant D20 content with maybe 1-2 week breaks between seasons, so it feels weird that they don't feel as though they can take longer breaks. I know D20 is Dropout's big money maker right now, but there HAS to be a happy middleground between "CH makes zero money this quarter" and "our employees are working 60 hour work weeks" (60 is just the number I'm picking for arguement's sake, we don't have exact numbers)

      Its amazing that despite pumping out content at a breakneck rate, it's all still great. How Brennan can continue imagining such amazing campaigns I just have no idea. I don't know if it makes it easier on Brennan and the crew, but I liked the set up for Fantasy High Live. Theater of Mind, with little to no editing or set design. If they absolutely have to pump out 2 or more campaigns a year, making 'filler' campaigns that are easier on the crew and Brennan would be great with me.

      I think part of it is that dimension 20 is the only real reason to subscribe to dropout.

    When he gets asked if someone else would ever jump into the DM seat and Magic and Misfits filmed a month prior…

      It's my pleasure! I enjoy doing these a lot!
      The only down side is that I do all the video editing by myself and that takes hours XD
      Hopefully, one day I can afford to hire an editor to take care of that!

    Kind of like Redwall... Brennan uses “Brockhollow the badger”, Jacques used “Brocktree the badger”

    I wonder if the plot is loosely following the book 'the eleventh hour'

  • @Niklback1

    Ohhhhhhhjh Shiiiiiiiit
    The mice are the political underclass and all the players charaters are some kind of bourgeoisie...
    So all the player characters are the villains????

    • @geek_peek
      @geek_peek  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not gonna lie, knowing Brennan this could totally be an option. Sam, Katie, and Rekha's characters really fit into this premise. Grant, Ally and Raph's characters are more on the Lawful (Neutral or Chaotic) side.

    • @Niklback1
      @Niklback1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@geek_peek Exactly. And the upstairs-downstairs genre really needs someone like Brennan to add actual breakdown of class. If he wants to flex, even Good aligned characters could be villains to the less politically powerful mice.

      @@Niklback1 That's the thing I love about Brennan. His villains feel like people. Especially the villain in A Crown of Candy (you know who I'm talking about if you've seen it, otherwise no spoilers). That character was pretty dope at the beginning and the betrayal made my stomach turn :)

      Yes! I also wondered about it but it didn't seem appropriate to diverge from my prepared questions to ask about it XD
