Appreciate the diving into the intricacies that Yamaha failed to in their videos and user manuals, especially for those of us in the pre-purchase phase!
@@daviddelrio3183 anything that can send / receive Dante will be able to accept the Dante flows. But, you’re not going to have head amp control, it needs to be a Yamaha controllable device for that to work. A work around would be having an iPad / wireless router setup with the dm3 app. Then manipulating your head amps that way.
@ watch this video, I’m cascading one consoles main L/R into another’s channels. As you mentioned. th-cam.com/video/wxAUZ2jxT9g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=GooeGWFLfSqjkNtu all via Dante.

do you think this would work with any mixer that has dante? an A&H for example and use the DM3 as the Rio1608

Can you use the tf rack in the same way ?
Nice! Do you think one DM3-D main LR out could feed another DM3-D into a channel pair, like a Dante cascade. I used to cascade O2R’s back in the day…
Yes ! Absolutely
@ I already own a DM3-D and A TIO1608-D2… I should get another DM3-D just to try this out….
