      At 55 years old.
      The only thing I have learned in life is if you ask 10 different people you get 10 different answers.
      Like this cell phone bizz,it is driving me nutts with my anxiety disorder that I have.
      I've been trying to come up with a phone for me and my daughter and my son ,not my wife though,she said I'm done and went and just bought a phone on her own.
      So many questions with so little help of anyone that has in depth knowledge of cell phones.
      Meaning ,most associates at the local centers are clowns,meaning they have no clue what the good,bad or ugly is on there products.
      They only sell what they are told to push for the month.
      This is why I was wanting this guy to answer questions as I can't find anyone to answer questions who is not biased.
      Anyway good luck to mee.
      4 months in, still confused.

    No they’re too expensive. AT&T and T-Mobile on a nationwide scale has equal if not better coverage experience for the most part. There are of course anecdotal cases where one carrier works the best. If that’s the case then you don’t have much choice if that’s what only works.

    I was grandfathered in on the 5G Get More plan, and I don’t plan on switching plans anytime soon. Sure they hiked my plan by $4 a month, but it’s still cheaper with all the benefits I get. For example, I get the Disney bundle, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, etc. all for now $84 (was $80) per month, plus the best trade in deals. So why would I switch to the new plans, and get the same benefits to pay $20 more per month? That’s stupid imo. Soooo I have no intention to switch. The only way I’d switch is if I’m the next few years they have some amazing new plans rolled out (like they do just about every year), to make the switch worth it or keep hiking my bill till it’s not worth staying on my current plan. But, I will say they did give me an extra 5gb of hotspot data for the price hike, which I could care less about, I don’t even use my hotspot. I did in the past, but don’t have a need for it now lol.

    Hey Stetson, I'm confused on your math for the welcome unlimited plan. If you bring your own phone and use auto pay and have 4 lines, Welcome unlimited is $100/month for 4 lines. What's up with the difference (if you remove the iphone financing). Edit - I see the problem. The video was made assuming each line will buy or finance a phone...I think? If we remove the phone as a variable, unlimited welcome is $100/month + taxes/fees for 4 lines, and unlimited plus is $140 + taxes/fees for 4 lines.

However, since I’m with Cellcom (a Wisconsin carrier) I can’t contribute to adding points on your map. Cellcom’s alternative carrier in areas with no native coverage is Verizon. I’d love to participate on the maps when I’m outside of Cellcom’s coverage. Is there any way you can identify the PLMN number to determine which carrier is being speed tested? I think most cell phones networks do not understand the definition of unlimited . (Having no restrictions or controls, Having or seeming to have no boundaries; infinite) Like a professor once told me, “they are selling a lie.”

    Customer service needs to be factored in when it comes to value, however. Now anyone who has used Verizon knows they have gone downhill in recent years. However, I use visible on a second phone, and their customer service is for lack of a better word - atrocious. I know some people will swear by them, but I’ve had numerous problems and very bad experiences with their customer service - which is only available via chat.
    At some point I may consider switching to another service, but visible based on my experience isn’t worth the savings compared to the lack of customer service you get. Especially if you were talking about your primary line.

      I’d go with Boost Infinite’s Infinite Access for iPhone plan. It’s $60 per month and you get a free iPhone 15 today with no trade-in needed. Full details here: www.bestphoneplans.net/plans/infinite-access-for-iphone

      If you pay just the 60 a month, your phone won’t be paid off for three years. Their service is absolutely the worst i have ever experienced .

    For 1-2 people, definitely not. For 3 or more lines, it’s a better value but even that would depend. I have the Visible Plus yearly plan. $395 unlimited including the service for my Apple Watch Ultra. It feels good not to worry about paying for a cell phone bill for a year.

      Yeah, pretty much when we went down to three carriers. It was good for everybody but the consumer remember when there was four carriers that companies couldn’t bundle and give freebies away fast enough 2016 2017 I had five lines of unlimited data for $100 and then I paid an extra $10 for premium streaming on one of my lines.

    OK I do have a question I did purchase an iPhone 14+ with the Verizon unlimited welcome plan now I could still cancel all of this, but if I were to switch over to visible, do they offer phone discounts or promotions?

    • @StetsonDoggett
      @StetsonDoggett  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Visible does not really offer phone discounts or promotions. If you wanted, you could finance a phone monthly through Affirm. The better move is typically to buy your phone outright and do a trade-in deal through the manufacturer though. So trade in your old iPhone to Apple and get a new unlocked iPhone from them.

    • @StetsonDoggett
      @StetsonDoggett  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      If you got the iPhone 14 Plus for free with Verizon Unlimited Welcome, it’s not necessarily a bad deal. Just do the math out of 36 months of service at $65 per month vs. buying an iPhone elsewhere (used on Swappa or new from Apple) + the cost of Visible Base or something.
