- This week we visit Waddesdon Manor, a National Trust property in Buckinghamshire, England. Built in the 1800s, it was owned by the famous banking family, the Rothschilds and was a favourite weekend retreat for them and their lucky guests. We explore the house, grounds and gardens, as well as the huge gift and wine shop. All of this to review this beautiful attraction and see if you should visit too.
Based on the Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire border in England, husband and wife Matt and Isabelle explore the beauty of British villages, countryside and attractions, as well as vlog their daily lives. Featuring a lot of restaurant reviews, cooking recipes, as well as quite a few cups of tea, we look to show off the very best of British life and this beautiful country.

I remember going to a Christmas food and craft fair with you. We started with got chocolate to warm us up. It was freezing cold and rainy. Still had a great time!
We haven't been to the Christmas Market in years, they got soo busy that they sort of lost their nice relaxed, festive feel.

Seeing as how the Rothschilds own the mansion I can imagine they are a bit touchy about still photos and video. What was your experience with that during your visit ? Did they search you before and after your house tour ?
Hi. Im pretty sure whilst it's managed by the Rothschild foundation, it's owned by the National Trust, so it's no different to any other National Trust estate you might visit. There are no bag searches and there weren't any restrictions on photography or video when we were there. I think we even asked the volunteer at the entrance and they were fine with the camera. We've been to Waddesdon plenty of times over the years and always taken plenty of photos with no problems at all. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe! Matt & Issy

Kabi kushi Kabi Gham movie I have seen
There are loads of movies and TV series filmed there! A lot of these big, impressive houses get used for big films. Blenheim Palace, which isn't too far away, was used in a bond film and loads of other movies. Thanks for watching, and don't forget to subscribe!

Is there chess in this beautiful castle? There is a legend that you can earn money for such a Castle only by playing chess.
We haven't seen a chess set. Not that we can remember anyway! I think the Rothschilds bought this with their banking fortune, but it would be nice to think you could by a house like this by playing chess! Not sure if the prize money would be enough though 😁🤣
