The AdKc on hand 2, should we maybe be calling with no club in our hand and finding a fold when we hold Kc or Ac? As far as a calling or folding mixing strategy?
When the population massively overbluffs a certain node, things like what suits you have are almost completely irrelevant. Your strategy becomes as simple as “just call every bluff catcher.” This is the huge advantage that the data driven approach our CFP has over theoretical and GTO players. Imagine being able to know with certainty which nodes are overbluffed and underbluffed, which nodes are overcalled and undercalled. We pretty much never advise mixing because we don’t have to.
Just curious in your first example why we are betting 1/2 pot instead of 1/5 or 1/4 pot, since this flop favors his range-he has 33, TJ, TT 9Ts, JQ and sometimes JJ here. Are we betting more due to being 3-handed, or some other reason?
the hand beginning 3 handed shouldn't affect the strat we deploy... generally connected & double broadway merit a larger cbet strategy... don't forget hero also has JT, JJ, & TT... as well as AA-QQ whereas the BTN doesnt generally have those overpairs.
In addition to what Brad said, its important to remember that cbet size isnt always a function of range advantage. There are many boards where the PFR has range advantage but cbets range and therefore picks a small cbet size like 1/3 or 1/4. For example in this same SB vs. BT 3BP scenario on an AQ5r flop the SB has range advantage, but overwhelmingly prefers a small cbet size.

My 90 year old father needs to watch this video. He claims he misses with AK 90% of the time. No HUD to back it up but those are his statistics.
😂
hahaha ... easier to remember the misses than the hits
Love the passive play OOP and bluff catching. Need to incorporate this more myself.
thank you... just gotta get in there & get some reps!
Thanks for making this video. I was just asking for it after the last episode. Really cool to hear your guys thought process when bluff catching. 👍💪
Our pleasure RD!
Great job guys, was thinking about this when watching the last AK vidio, could not be more happy with the subject ❤ and once again great execution
thank you my friend!
Fun video! Thanks for the insights.
@@raysmets thanks Ray!

@@jonchai348 One of the best lines I took from this video was when we allow our opponents to have bluffs they will find them, great content guys!
