If God comes and ask for one wish.. than I would request him to take us back into 80s and 90s era.. those years showed what a beautiful school, childhood days, friends, relatives, neighbors, festivals and this beautiful songs were..
This movie was released in 1988, so it's almost a 90s movie, especially since this movie definitely played a part in setting the tone for the 90s, but it's not technically a 90s movie. Nevertheless, you would really have wanted to have been born in the 80s to have been able to enjoy the 90s. Other than maybe people born in 1990 or 1991, those born in the 90s wouldn't remember enough (if anything) from that decade for it to really matter. Even if you were born in 1992, you wouldn't have turned 5 until it was already 1997. By then, HAHK, DDLJ, "Raja Hindustani" (which established Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, and Aamir Khan as "the three Khans"), "Aankhen" (which established Govinda as a leading comic star), and "Mohra" (which established Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty as leading action stars) had already been released. And you wouldn't have turned 7 until 1999. By then, Bollywood was already beginning to move into the 00s. The soundtrack for KNPH, which made Hrithik Roshan a star overnight, had already been released in 1999 and had sold more than any other Bollywood movie soundtrack album that year. So, you really wouldn't have experienced much of the 90s if you hadn't been born by the 80s or very early 90s at latest.
Our family was struggling a lot (financially and mentally) because of medical expenses for my younger brother who was about to die from a bone disease...I was in kindergarten and was usually left home when my parents would go out for treatments...Once, I was also taken along with them...That's when Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (QSQT) was released...To give my younger brother happiness, we rented a VCP/VCR at my uncle's place in Shillong and watched this film (just for these super hit songs). By the grace of God and little happiness like these films, my brother survived; and is healthy till this day. Ever since, these songs from QSQT have been part of our lives...So emotionally attached. ❤️
Lots of love to your family. These songs and especially the melody can do things to your brain that have such a profound impact on your life which you won't even realise. With so many comments for this song, I am totally convinced that the people are hungry for good music. Music that can help them unwind, feel normal, feel connected to this world, feel loved, and cared for. It's sad that we don't have much from today's music to hold on to. It's scary when I think of generations who are just born. Hope the industry realises this soon and brings about the much needed change to how the music is made.

Why just heroines even the heroes were not gym freaks. Do you see Amir here? Does he have six packs? No but watch Gajani Amir has six packs in that and in Doom. Why because times have changed. Definition of beauty has changed and changed for the worse. Its important to look good no matter healthy or not. With there steroid use and crash diets and supplements these actors and actresses look good but are not necessarily healthy. Remember we have a 2000 year old yoga tradition in India. Who is listening to this song in 2024?
What a fresh and original voice of Udit Narayan... Tearing through Indian music space that was dominated by Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi clones
Nothing about this song is original. Check out The Shadows- Return to the Alamo
@@gururajchadaga Udit sir's voice is eternally original , you stupid freak

Me
Aamir's Face and Udit Narayan's voice, an absolutely amazing match made in heaven only. ;-)
They have such amazing chemistry 💖
For all who reached adulthood in 90s, songs like these got a special place. We tend to index certain phases of our lives to certain special songs like these or certain events like a tendulkar century in sharjah. QSQT was perhaps the first movie I watched over 5 times. Soon after Maine Pyar Kiya was released which too had a terrific impact on teens of those days.
Yes. I was in 6th and qsqt was my first love..
And then came mpk
When released I saw this flim ten times my favourite hero and heroine Amir and juhi.
Those days were perfect. Better than what we living in now.
This song was way ahead of its time...legendary composers

@@Shubhgoshere so what even if it has been copied.. Copying isn't easy... It requires brain and talent... Moreover most of the music directors copy
@TheSuri1000 please listen to that song once, im quite certain most of their brain was used in trying to find that song to copy. However, I love the QSQT version to the core. It is a part of my childhood.
