the crash physics on this are actually pretty god damn realistic, i saw a guardrail bend like that out of shape exactly like that after someone wrecked into it. bravo
Personally I believe the last step for BeamNG truly becoming the most realistic car simulator is to have dynamic props instead of those static props that your car just completely stops when hitting, and you just made that step closer to the present :)
They also need to make cars actually destroy in pieces. The fact that you cannot cut most cars in half because you will get a poligonal glitchy mess need to be improved imo.
Got the guardrail, got the lights, got some other cosmetic stuff with an entire building or bridge... anyone see any signs cause I feel like someone could manually replace an entire Map
Great video! Small tip - 1:00 to avoid low framerate physics in replay mode, when you're running the crash switch to slow motion mode during live gameplay while recording, then when you re-play the replay, the crash physics will be much smoother. Only con is I think if you try and run a slow mo replay in full speed, you may lose graphics framerate, but you can always record in slow and speed it up in post in your video editor!
This is so realistic! I love guard rails and have seen many engineering videos talking about how they have been improved over the years to address some of the crashes presented in this video. I cannot wait to try out the mod; honestly, I think BeamNG creators should implement this and add it to all their maps. I love crashing as much as the next guy but I would have loved some barriers in strategic places haha
In general, beamng would be soooooo much better if the environment was more alive! Trees, signs, fences, walls and obviously these rails... Come on you already have the physics implemented beamng!!
looks and acts a lot better than crashard one, i like the adjustability and hope it will be done thru vehicle config just like metal ramp (lenght, curve, ends...) tbh im really exited for this!
Holy hell. This is amazing. As a relatively new edition to the modding community (still working on first 1) this is incredible to see what people can achieve. Also it’s just cool because of how much you can do with this
Damn! 😳I absolutely love the editing of this showcase. Reminds me alot of the official BeamNG showcases of new cars, maps, features, etc so props to you! 🙏 If i remember correctly, there has already been a guardrail mod a few years ago but it definitely wasn't *this* customizable and not as good either. So, this looks extremely promising!
Dude what a great mod idea. It looks so good too. You already know I'll be downloading this and playing with it for hours, I'd love to see this as an official feature. Earned a new subscriber. You know what to do people, make this blow up
Before I watched this video, I thought it was going to be like every other guardrail mod, until I saw the customizable shape part. I hope this is getting released soon!
great job! thats so cool! I always thought that should be a feature, and you've done it! The editing on the video is also immaculate! Keep it up, I'd love to try this someday!
Wow, simply great work! Put it in as a WIP-mod and wait for the comments and suggestions. There is no better test than rolling it out and let the community test it.
i know its not the focus of the video but goddamn man congrats on capturing the exact feel gabester's music has while still keeping it unique to you, thats fucking brilliant
Woah so cool! Btw, tip for slow mo, if you record with the game in slow mo, it will have more data, less stuttering when you also want to play back in slow mo. :)
Imagine if beam added this to their maps Although, I can only imagine that this would add an unreasonable amount of physics sim that wouldn't normally be there, killing some lower pc's
I’ll definitely try to add some of these to the Utah map. I have a low end pc butter game is still really playable with 30-40fps so I think my pc won’t have problems with 10-15 guardrails or more if there are not that much nodes.
Hopefully, this is the first step to a fully destructible map in beamng, which would be amazing if it was already a well running mod that doesn't blow pcs after 2 seconds of run time
My question is, HOW in the WORLD do you have so little subscribers?! Ive been watching a lot of Beamng TH-camrs right? Carpal, Muye and whatever else i can find ALL of them have more subscribers than you and YOUR videos are THE BEST Beamng videos I HAVE EVER SEEN! ❤❤❤ i Really hope you get some attention soon :)❤❤❤
would be nice if devs added this and other similar dynamic road props to the game (traffic lights and such) i know its possible to do but harder to impliment properly i look forward to it tho
I hope mappers can adopt this for togue and mountain maps, would be nice to not just get glued to guardrails and also have risk of going over rather than just bouncing or getting glued to the rail
Would be nice if the Beam devs added this officially to the game. Even better if it came implemented on maps and weren't classified as a vehicle but map objects with the same effect. That way when you spawn other vehicles you aren't cycling through barriers as well unless you spawn prop versions as well. You would have to reset the map or use the editor to fix the map based barriers when damaged. Wishful thinking but there was a map on Rigs of Rods someone had made with barriers that could be damaged that weren't considered a vehicle.
the crash physics on this are actually pretty god damn realistic, i saw a guardrail bend like that out of shape exactly like that after someone wrecked into it. bravo
except the guardrail is not puncturing through the car in front end collissions, but that's just a beamng limitation rather than an issue with the mod
@@erixccjc2143its suposed to be like that its like that inrl too
@@SamAcDrifts If you crash head on into a guardrail at the height of your windshield it's going straight through your car
yeah but these cars arent low like that @@erixccjc2143

Yes! 110% agreed! We need more props!
@@CrashFrontier the more props the more the game runs worse. I can see it happening but not super soon

Yeah exactly especially on maps like utah or Italy which are in the mountains
In general, beamng would be soooooo much better if the environment was more alive! Trees, signs, fences, walls and obviously these rails... Come on you already have the physics implemented beamng!!
This reminds me BeamNG is about breaking things. I spend so much time using it as a driving simulator I forget all these beautiful crashes
It's actually one of the best mods for BeamNG I've ever seen!🔥
Is there release date already and will this be paid or free mode?
I think it will be released already on Monday. And it will be free :)

the standard beamng guardrail with jbeam, i’ve always wanted to see that.
THANK YOU!
transitions at 1:13 went hard, great editing, and a wonderful mod. Thanks for sharing with the community!
A nice refresh of the crash hard guardrails, love this!
Woah, nice work, both on the video and the actual guardrails!
woah nice video nice mod and thank you for making it free!
Nice to see something cool the algorithm recommended.
I love how the sloped ones just send you flying if you hit it from the slope. Really does a good job of preserving the guardrail.

you got a about 2k subs, i remember when you had 200-400 subs, keep doing great job and you will become a succesfull BeamngDrive content creator!
Looks ready enough for release! Looks extremely realistic. Finally I can have a crash test guard-rail for my game!
Love this mod and the editing in this video is *chefs kiss*

that was exactly what I realized when editing the video :D Anyway, thanks for the comment
It won't take long for the devs to find this. This NEEDS to be in the main game. Amazing mod.
Good bro ❤
The BEAMNG community is the best, Goood work!!
Not even a part of the Beam community, but keep up the good work, looks amazing!
Dude's out here trying to recreate Robert Kubica's crash

That last clip was clean 👌
they need you to join the beam team. this is impressive.
imagine they had this in the vanilla maps
this absolutely needs to be in the vanilla game, but great work man I hope the devs see this 👀
that shot at 1:00 looked like a miniature car! really cool mod!
the devs should pay this dude for it. gj mate.
Nice, I can finally impale myself in BeamNG
This is the new best guardrail mod, to great to ignore!
this is amazing cant wait for the release
The cinematic is crazy
Ahh Perry the Platypus what an impeccable piece of work and by impeccable I mean completely peccable
This mod is great bro the devs should hire you on their team lmao
I would be surprised if thenDevs didnt pick this guy up like they did the guy that made the traffic mod. This is awesome.
Hopefully, this is the first step to a fully destructible map in beamng, which would be amazing if it was already a well running mod that doesn't blow pcs after 2 seconds of run time
@TalkafireOfficial The physics would probably be the heavy thing, you you'd need a good CPU.
@TalkafireOfficialwhich ryzen 5 are you using? I'm using the 5600x with pbo. I'm getting 34 fps on most of the maps with 12 vehicles
Respect to the drivers who risked their lives to demonstrate W-Beam Guardrails
Great work dude! :D
bro dropped the coldest beamng guardrail edit
Looks really good!
this mod actually seems perfect for base game, literally perfect
I really hope the developers will make something like this on maps and also modders offcourse
Awesome. Now when i drift into a guardrail ill rember for the rest of time🙄😂❤️
I think that BeamNG is going to be the best racing / rally game up to the day when it becomes a racing / rally game- not just a sandbox
This reminded me of 2011 Kubica rally crash😔
The best simulation of guard rails that i remember was in original OG Dirt rally, the ability to bend and twist it with ur car
Wow. Will definatly install this mod!

An end that just goes straight down (without the curve) would be cool, too.
wish guardrails were like this in the base game, would be cool to have more objects in maps that can actually deform
we genuinely need this in vanilla BeamNG
would be nice if devs added this and other similar dynamic road props to the game (traffic lights and such)
i know its possible to do but harder to impliment properly
i look forward to it tho
Never thought guardrails would be so beutiful.
This is one of the greatest things ever seen in beamng
dude your video making skills are incredible. the fact that you have below 3000 subs is baffling
this is what i've been waiting for since the release of beamng
This is so awesome!
This mod looks amazing!
Beamng hire this man
This video made me realize how much i love beamng
I hope mappers can adopt this for togue and mountain maps, would be nice to not just get glued to guardrails and also have risk of going over rather than just bouncing or getting glued to the rail
i cant wait intil we get updates like these in beamng
tip to make replays look smoother... record in slow motion during interactions(crashes) and it will minimize the jittery movement
Slick edit 👌🏻
