مصمّم فرنسي شامل برع في فنون الهندسة الداخلية والعمارة وحتى الأزياء. تتنوع أعماله بين تصميم الأثاث والساعات والملابس والإضاءة والقصور واليخوت والطائرات والفنادق والسيارات... حصد الشهرة من خلال كل ما صمّمه، بدءاً من عصّارة الحامض مروراً بكرسي "الشبح" أيقونة "دار كارتيل" (Kartell) وصولاً إلى أبنية طوكيو واليخوت وجناح فرانسوا ميتران في القصر الرئاسي في الإليزي. في بداياته عيّن مديراً فنياً لدار بيار كاردان، ثم أسس شركته "يوبيك" (Ubik) وقد وقّع أكثر من عشرة آلاف ابتكار، بينما تتصدّر أعماله متاحف الفنون في أوروبا والولايات المتحدة الأميركية.
تروي سلسلة "قصة لقاء" كواليس مجموعة من أكثر الحوارات إثارة للجدل، أجراها ريكاردو كرم مع شخصيات بارزة، وكانت حديث الناس لدى عرضها على الشاشة الصغيرة. ثلاثون حلقة يقصّ فيها ظروف تلك اللقاءات والمغامرات التي رافقتها ومقتطفات منها، تحييها مجدداً وتعيدها الى ذاكرة المشاهدين.
Philippe Starck is a French designer known for his wide range of designs, including everything from interior design, to buildings to household objects to boats to watches. He was influenced by his father, who worked as an aircraft engineer. Starck studied at the École Nissim de Camondo, Paris. In 1968, he set up his first company, which produced inflatable objects. Starck first gained international attention when he was commissioned to refurbish the private apartments in the Élysée Palace in Paris for French President François Mitterrand. His best-known work is an austere, block like granite building topped with a bulbous orange shape resembling a flame, and the Unhex Nani-Nani office building (1989), also in Tokyo, which has been described as a biomorphic shed.
Ricardo Karam narrates in “Qissat Liqaa” the circumstances, adventures and behind the scenes of his most interesting encounters and talks. Extracts of those special interviews are showcased in 30 chapters as Ricardo brought his memories back to life.
