More in-line with the joke- Boney Kapoor is a Punjabi Hindu man who fell in love with a hot south indian (Tamil) woman- Sridevi. That's what made the joke hilarious because that's the whole premise of 2 States that Arjun Kapoor is in. As an aside, Sridevi is the woman his father cheated on his mother with and left her (Arjun's mother) when she had cancer to d/e alone.This is the main reason Arjun did not talk to his father for many years and was not in touch with his half siblings.

If we allow these kinda videos and language to be on the internet, then there is nothing left. Everyone will start using this language and then lets see if anyone among us would be able to listen to that for ourselves. Remember- they are latinos, they are from the West, they are way more open than us. If they can't, it's just shame for us even now, back then, it was definitely a cultural shock

Boney Kapoor is the dad of Arjun kapoor . Boney Kapoor cheated on his first wife (Arjun's mother) and fall for a south Indian actress Sridevi later who became a legendary actress of Indian cinema.. eventually they got married and has 2 daughters Jhanvi kapoor and Khusi kapoor . Bcs of this he(Arjun) cut off the relation with his father and used to stay separate with his mother . But when Sridevi died(in 2018) he came back to look after his sisters and take care for them. (Everything is good now in between him and his sisters but don't know about him and his father)
