If you have really accepted Jesus into your heart, you WANT to live right, you WANT to have morals and values, you WANT to live a clean life without alcohol and drugs, cursing and singing about sex, etc. 🤷♀️You can’t say sinning is okay because “you’re saved”. I mean, Christians are definitely not perfect but when you do sin you feel convicted and cry out to God for forgiveness and for help repenting. All that is required is believing in Jesus Christ and his gospel, believe he took all of our sins upon him on the cross his blood was shed and he died and was buried and on the 3rd day he rose from the dead and conquered and defeated death and is now living and at the right hand of the Father. Believe in that and you are saved. Baptism is something we do out of discipleship to the Lord. The works we do are profitable for our fellow man, our works lead sinners to be saved by the Lord like James 2 tells us about.

I don’t think you can say you are not saved when you say a certain thing, it’s when God saves you, His timing. I found out the same way like Justin. I thought I was saved and got baptized but was still lived in sinful lifestyle until my grandkids were born. I didn’t want to pass them a bad baton to them which is a generation curses. can’t live worldly life and trying to speak Jesus to them. Now I can truly say I’m a follower of Jesus Christ our savior. Look at John 1:1 "1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Also look at John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."

Jesus gives us hope! Be careful who you are possibly discouraging from believing in a work in their hearts when YOU are not the judge, I am so grateful that Jesus is my Judge and not people! So many people say "I'm a Christian" and they think they are redeemed. Just believing in God or Jesus is not what redeems you. You must follow Christ, live for Jesus, confess your sins to Him and repent. Every single person IS redeemable. No past sin is too big to block the forgiveness from the Lord. Christ will redeem you, forgive you. Repentance is key. Then, take up your cross, and follow Him ♡

I prayed for this specific man many many years ago out of the blue and then continued to pray for him. It was looooong time later that my prayer was finally answered and I'm super greatful. I wasn't even a big fan or anything. Starting about a year ago, I always try to pray for everyone I can think of. The thought of anyone going to hell makes me feel very very scared for them whether they were terrible people or not. For people who are out of my reach, praying is the only thing I can do for them.
