I'm not surprised lemony Snicket tore into the movie, he tears into everything and acts like he's in a constant state of cynical depression.
No, he's not actually like that, he does it for anything relating to the books. It's to fit the tone, it's pretty great.

@@king_big_pp Lemony Snicket is a in-universe fictional character, not a real person. Daniel Handler, the actual author, isn't really him, there's always just this extra character on top of the story who also participates in it to some degree, though Handler also used it as a pen name for some other stuff. Handler can be quoted as saying
"the character of Lemony Snicket, this man who speaks directly to the reader and also who is tangentially involved in the stories that he's telling is really more of a character"
That stuff with him on the commentary is basically kind of an in-universe commentary, kind of, it all gets really weird.

The more I think about it, Rugrats Go Wild feels like a retread to the other Rugrats films in a way.
The family goes on vacation. (Rugrats in Paris)
The babies are separated from their parents and get lost in the woods. (The Rugrats Movie)

The original Yours, Mine, and Ours not only is the FAR better movie, but it's also based on a true story. Yes, a widow with 10 kids married a widower with 8, and then 19 kids! As to your condom question, in the original movie, and the real family, they are Catholic. Thus, baby makes 19. Oh! And something Paramount added to the story in the original, was a bit of cross promotion with another of their properties. The aircraft carrier the dad serves on is the USS Enterprise.
The remake was clearly a cash grab with the success of the Cheaper by the Dozen remake (again, the original being based on a true story) and Eddie Murphy's Daddy Day Care. See a formula, copy a formula.

I was a kid when I watched it, so I had grew up with the belief that you should never change yourself just to impress others so long as you. You should grow with those life experiences you go through. That scene where spongebob and Patrick died was the first and only time I’ll admit where I cried during a movie. And here I am, now in college and the film still holds a special place in my heart.

The Spongebob Squarepants Movie is such a funny and great film that I could watch over and over again and still love to this day. I liked the second film fine, but the original was more memorable.

The best things about the Series of Unfortunate Events film was the cast, even as a kid I was like "this is impressive", especially a young Emily Browning. Wanted to see where ended up, but did Sucker Punch, The Uninvited and Pompeii... And before American Gods, that one film where she's treated like an unconscious naked doll, wasn't expecting that then .
Finally, that end credits theme, "Drive Away" which was composed by Finding Nemo's and WALL-E's Thomas Newman , so you know it's good, actually it's my favorite piece of his. (Oh yeah, I played the game too.)
