Amazing that in a game marketed as a shooter, they focus on handicapped heroes with spammy saber lunges. Not saying heroes are hard to kill if you have a good group of buddies, but those players who run around with a level 1k Anakin but barely broke 80 on their base classes are the bane of every match. And the best part is they don't even play the objective 90 percent of the time.
I know they won't, but I want Supremacy to drop heroes entirely. Or leave it to one hero on the field at a time.

For Heavy, the DC-15LE with reduced recoil and exploding shot is extremely useful. (You could swap out reduce recoil for increased zoom if you really wanted and it would still work well). Explosive shots make it so accuracy isn't *that* important, and you can just splash damage every enemy in your sight. Makes it extremely useful for clearing out large groups of enemies, as well as shredding hero's health. Lightsaber heros can't block the splash damage from the gun, so their health will deplete fast with a good few seconds of firing on them. Heavily recommend it.

I always thought that tighten up replaced the thermal detonator, so I never used it never knew it replaced the useless scan dart.

@@MediumtiercommenterI named it after the fat scout subclass in TF2, which is heavy who primarily uses a shotgun. But since there were so many explosives in bf2, and the class is named the heavy, boom, fat demoman.
the only required card is the explosive sentry for the middle. And maybe barrage I have to check.
For other ability card options. Just have them filled with anything that explodes. This opens you up to keep the stock impact grenade, and take a non ability card.
Other options include:
Proximity grenade
Barrage
Ion torpedo
Improved impact grenade
Just anything that was used for pathetic 'defense' eww. Should be replaced with some cool ass, high damaging explosives.
You can also use the explosive rounds on the dsle

For specialist I really like to use the stinger pistol card, since it can save you very often in close fights when your shot gun isn’t reloaded yet. Since the stinger is active like instantly it’s pretty useful (especially against heros)
E-11D is my favorite assult blaster. It's effective at a pretty long range, I mean it's not the best at those ranges but mostly I just try to get closer, I mean there's not that many time where you are at a long range amd you can't just close the distance a little bit or get out of the situation, so I usually just get out or get closer if the range is to far. Because on close to medium rage, it is superb, for me it has the perfect fire rate to any situation.

for assault i also use the star card for thermenal detenator so it has a bigger range and a faster recharge time. i think its good because it does a massive damage to troopers and sometimes can take out groups of players.

I am proud cycler rifle main for the Specialist. Nobody ever uses it, which makes it all the more personal to me. I’m also generally enamored with that gun, it’s incredibly unique and aesthetically pleasing. Practically useless before you have the cooling and recoil upgrades (the former in particular), but after that it’s an absolute joy and very satisfying if you play it well.
Ajan Kloss is the perfect map for it, positioning yourself on different parts of the upper cliffs or their hidden outcrops (good vantage points, and relocation in order to maintain unpredictability) where you have an insane field of vision. It works especially well while playing as the Resistance because of the camouflage (something the First Order severely lack). Their default spawn location is also very close, which is desirable.
From there, my strategy is to expose targets with thermal binoculars and pick them off one by one in rapid succession. If I don’t directly kill everyone I spotted, they usually die by other means as a result, which gives me a lot of passive assists.
It’s the most underrated weapon in the game in my opinion. But as I mentioned, I’m still happy to be in the minority of its regular wielders.

I have about 300 hours on the game and I would like to share my setups for people who don't specifically like the setups in the video. My weapons go from short on assault, short-medium on heavy, medium on officer and medium/long on specialist.
Assault: No aim, no brain
CR-2: Reduced recoil, Night vision (replacable)
Cards:
Toughen up: You are literally invincible when this is equipped
Marksman: Useful on the CR-2 with its fast fire rate
Slug vanguard: Do damage as you close the distance between you and the enemy
Heavy: The default
FWMB-10K: Auto cooling, Night vision
Cards:
Marksman: easy headshots with FWMB-10K
Resourceful
Improved combat shield
Officer: The points
S-5: Reduced recoil, dual zoom
Cards 1: This build focuses on spamming recharge and getting a lot of points
Bounty hunter
Recharge command
Resourceful
Cards 2: less points but more useful
Bounty hunter
Officer's presence

Specialist: The long range
A280-CFE: Reduced recoil, Burst shot. I use this when my aim isn't super great
NT-242: Dual zoom, improved cooling. Remove dual zoom for Disruptor shot on vehicle maps like hoth naboo kashyyyk geonosis.
I generally run NT-242 (with disruptor shot) only on vehicle maps and A280-CFE on every other map

14:40 wtf? that roll transition was perfect
I honestly can't believe more people don't use the DC-15 LE. The explosive shot is the most overpowered thing about using the heavy for me. Its splash damage can get past shields and lightsaber blocks, and is really good if you find a group that's close together. It's really good at long ranges since the explosive splash damage has such a big hitbox that it makes up for almost all of the spread, and with reduced recoil, recoil is almost completely non-existent. I feel like no one uses it because as soon as they unlock explosive shot they equip the FWMB-10K and forget that it exists. Fair precaution though because if you shoot at the ground or a wall next to you, you will take damage from your own explosive shot. As for heavy cards, I use bodyguard, barrage, and either Improved impact grenade, or ion torpedo depending on the game mode and map. The default sentry is my personal favorite, and I like the barrage over the shield, because it can force the enemy out of their positions. I also prefer the E-11D with reduced recoil and improved range, because it more suits my playstyle with a lower fire rate and higher damage, and because the E-11 was my favorite blaster in the last game. I also use the DL-18 with improved cooling and reduced spread, since I like being able to shoot a little further than with the SE-44c, and the DL-18 was my second favorite blaster in the last game. I also use the squad shield with the officer because I personally find the turret to be very underpowered. As for the specialist, I never use the A280-CFE, because if I decide to play as specialist, I want to snipe, not play like an assult. I always use the NT-242 with improved cooling, and either dual zoom or disruptor shot, since I like to play as a sniper and pick off the enemy team from the back. I don't use the personal shield, mostly because I don't need it while sniping, but I also like the thermal binoculars while sniping to act as a way to see enemies through walls. Don't use the improved thermal binoculars though, they just give you longer spot duration, which isn't that helpful, and I just use them to find enemies, and not really to lock onto them. Stealth is useful as a sniper to stay hidden, and to give more melee damage. I also really love the stinger pistol. If you can tag everyone with it, it clears enough health that you can one shot most classes in the body with the NT if you use it right after. If I have an extra slot open I'll use hardened infiltration. Plus, if you round a corner and run into an enemy, and you have the 242 and stealth equipped, you can score one body shot quickly, then roll towards them instead off to the side, you can finish them with a melee hit, which can easily win a 1 on 1.

for the heavy the actual best gun for him is the dc-15le with the explosive attachment just shoot at the ground at the enemy hero and he/she will be forced to lose a massive amount of health and if your sitting far away just lasering a hero you will most likely kill him/her also this attachment is completely broken against yoda bcuz if you shoot him directly with this attachment his deflect or absorb dosent work however the guns that bfknight mentioned are still very strong
I would just love it if they brang back the original heroes vs villains were you attack or defend the targets but as a seperate game mode

Even though they changed its primary purpose, bodyguard still reduces explosion damage even though it doesnt say it specifically

I love running night vision scope on any gun I can just because it's so much easier to pick out targets. Even on the cr2 although I may swap it out for the ion shot now that I know it doesn't reduce your damage as much as I thought

Hey for new players, he missed out an op combo for any gun with specialist. This is, of course, the resourceful, hardened infiltration and body guard combo, which allows you to have effectively infinite infiltration to use it as a primary weapon. It is really op and is useful asf bcos with the minimap bonus it makes this combo better than vanguard.

Personally for the heavy I run the DC-15LE with explosive shot and reduced recoil, as it does high damage at a medium fire rate and doesn't require as much aim, and it hurts enemies through cover at times

Mobile Sentry for the Heavy class is pretty underrated imo
you can catch people by surprise so easily because of how fast you can pop out of cover with it and if you're accurate with it you can melt multiple people at once

For specialist. I like to use survivalist, marksman and laser trip mine. Combined with A280-CFE. When it's close combat
Laser trip mine is very good to protect objectives or deal dmg to heroes

Flash pistol on assault is great when paired with The long range gun. Flash pistol is underrated at close range.
My goal as a Heavy on Capital Supremacy and Galactic Assault is all in on infantry kills. I dedicate focus to suppressing and holding lines. Improved Impact, Grenade Launcher, and Explosive Sentry, for blaster I use TL-50 with reduced ion spread and secondary fire. I go all in on ability because in situations where I'm holding a position, the amount of utility I have can easily hold back groups and is enough to scare reinforcements and sometimes heroes. Secondary fire and nade launcher can hold back pushes and weaken a lot of infantry/reinforcements. Explosive Sentry can be either used to pelt Heroes and melt them to nothing or shred through vehicles---also good at mowing down large groups too. Of course switching out nade launcher for Bodyguard or Improved shield works too, this is just my play style. I figure my teammates will have their own strats, I'll be the idiot charging in first.
I feel like you should've talked about the different sentry modes and also the grenade launcher for heavy. I find the explosive sentry and the grenade launcher lets me single-handedly wreck everyone on the enemy team trying to hold off/get through a chokepoint or objective almost every time. I think it's worth trying out, it's very over powered.
I also think that the assault class is redundant compared to the specialist with hardened infiltration, the a280, but also the normal thermal binoculars. I think the thermal binoculars are extremely underrated and is not worth being replaced by the personal shield. They're literally stronger than any of the other wallhack abilities in the game, the only downside is that you can't shoot and look through them at the same time. They let you know exactly where everyone is and you can rush them down with either your a280 or hardened infiltration, they won't know what hit them. I like running bounty hunter just because of all the kills you're gonna get, paired with either stealth or survivalist. Try it out also, I think it's the strongest build in the game by far.
As far as sentry modes go, I see next to nobody using the overcharged sentry while I never remove that star card from my setup. Mainly because it's perfect for melting lightsaber heroes as it does splash dmg thru their block and is easier to aim than the explosive sentry if they choose to run from you.
@@TheTorment I prefer mobile sentry though because even a little movement maximizes your survival so much because otherwise you're a sitting duck.

If I’m playing GA and Running Specialist I do NT-242 with dual zoom and improved cooling with stinger pistol and if I’m playing on maps that have bombers and I’m with a friend I run improved thermal binoculars and stealth
If I’m in hallways or going objective I do A280-CFE with burst mode and dual zoom with stinger pistol for hero’s trip mine for choke points and stealth
2 things about the heavy: 1. run the grenade launcher on objective game modes. Yes you’re contributing to grenade spam but 🤷♀️
2. Use the second lmg with the explosive shot attachment. The splash damage let’s you hit groups of enemies and also damage heroes through their blocks

One of the best setups for defending your ship as the droids is 100% the heavy with the dc-15LE with explosive shit and reduced recoil.
For star cars the best ones to use are resourceful, barrage, and supercharged sentry. Trust me it's hard as shit to lose that ship if a few people have the same setup and the rest of the team actually helps
Its surprising how few people I see running anti vehicle setups in Galactic Assault or Supremacy, going for vehicles gives a generous amount of points too as well as getting rid of the incredible annoyance that vehicles are.
